Yeah I saw their Facebook post last night. I raced with CRC from my first race at Indian Dunes and then on to LACR so it saddens me to see that it is all over. ☹️
Thank you Vital MX for supporting a guy and product that is killing the sport. No wonder FELD wants to limit or do away with your "press" access.
Not making a statement about how I feel about the situation, but I'm pretty sure Feld couldn't care less what happens to LACR. Now if you want to chalk it up to the classic western use of "karma" for vital and their press access, so be it.
Fair enough. I do think the word " karma" is pretty spot on.
Sounds like the name LACR and it's owners are done. Maybe someone can pick it up under new ownership and name it will be easier to insure.
Just think about how idiotic that is from a logical perspective. Same facility, same sport, same set of risks, but change the name/owner and all of a sudden it’s insurable again. Our insurance system is an absolute joke.
