great drive for Norris and Oscar.

Ferrari what a poorly managed team as far as race management. pathetic that Leclerc went from easily yarding everyone to off the podium.

RB... man. they look bad.

I thought he had a real shot to win it because he lead 40 plus laps with to real challenge from the boys in orange. Still wondering what happened to the car to have him fall back so hard and im still mega bummed that they cant seem to get it together.

I have heard that they've been having issues with that. They set the cars up really low, but that also wears out the plank.

Borto seems to be the latest PlankoKiller!😂

If Hamilton decides to retire, Ferrari have already decided that Oliver Bearman would replace him.

Color me shocked that this didn't work out.  Hamilton doesn't have the mindset any longer nor the hunger(understandable)

Kept reading the rumors and thought, surely they can do better.

Guess not.

At least they didn't hire Mick Schumacher.

First season, two experienced drivers one of whom (Perez) will bring a tonne of Mexican money with him. Makes sense to get their feet wet and get used to the demands of F1. Especially if they expect to struggle a bit early on.

Also not sure who else was out there available. Colton Herta is one mentioned a lot but he’s not exactly wiping the floor with people in indycar and the rumour is that Red Bull are going after Palou.

Pretty sure that Herta failed to earn enough points for his super license. Which stopped any possible F1 signing.

I do agree with the funds he'll bring with him.

Not to mention the fanbase.

I'm just hoping this new, so to speak, team are hiring drivers who can give them good feedback as they develop the car.

Now granted, perez was probably severely hamstrung at redbull as far as getting the car set up for his style.

I hope one, or both, can rise above their wingman role that have defined their careers.

As far as Herta, it sucks that we don't have a path to F1 in the states. Or the political inroads.

Ricky Taylor, Herta, and others, that have been pulled into the nascar mess, would have been cool to see.

Especially now that we have three solid dates, plus Canada on the schedule.

F1 would kill for an American driver who’s good enough to be at the top as well so one would suspect if he was clearly good enough Herta would probably have found some miraculous loopholes appearing in front of him.

I actually think he should have got a drive a couple years ago, but for some reason his career has stalled a bit where it looked for a while like he was the real deal. Hopefully he can kick on again soon, he seems like a genuinely good kid and is one of my favourite drivers in indy.

Re. Pathways to F1, I think the problem is how different indycar is to drive to F1. The feeder series are not that far apart from skip barber up through indy lights, but indycar is a series unlike almost all others in terms of car and tracks. Mclaren have kinda opened a door slightly for drivers to come over through their team, but it’s not been kicked wide open yet. Matter of time though I think.

I’d keep an eye on Ugo Ugochukwu, he’s working through the European series at the minute backed by Mclaren. Seems a damn good prospect.

"Ambition over adhesion"

🤣

I will wait until qualifying before I let Ferrari's poor practice times bring me down but so far it does not look good but then again Ferrari has been having some good qualifying runs after poor practice times, at least Leclerc has. But it may be another frustrating F1 weekend for me. 😬

Would be a damn shame to remove this track from the calendar. (As rumored)

Would loved to have seen it on the schedule during the Schumacher era. He would have ripped.

And villeneuve is worthless in the booth.

Past champion or not.

One of my favorite tracks, why are they leaving this track? Love that banked corner!

How Zandvoort doesn't have an amazing mx track on site is beyond me. Perfect terrain!!! Must be environment loonies protecting a spotted newt.

Have you considered switching your allegiance to another team?

It might be time. 😄

They went on a 2fer in 3 today ... Toto would be on the phone screaming for track changes.

Pretty cool to see Isack get his first podium and a 180 for Lando's misfortune.

Was promoting Antonelli a mistake?  Kid could use a year or two in the minors.

I feel for you Lost... they have gotten better with their race strategy. So take the positives.

Sainz on Lawson was hilarious, Ferrari ouch kabibbles, Great job by Hadjar, Max’s post race comments say it all. Lando passes him and Max goes “well bye bye, he’s gone” gives you insight on how fast them McLarens are. Unfortunate for Lando
