Nicoletti
The first moto might have been the best of the year lol.
Best race I’ve seen a long time.
Brad Anderson, Christophe Pourcel and David Phillapaerts 3’s up in every corner the entire race.
Searle casually gaining on these 3 as they battled it out.
Mega.
Much excite for race 2! Hoping Townley and Filthy Phil can get in the mix.
Wob Looks thrilled , haha
I interviewed Ben on the stream, and he said that something felt bad in the forks, after being fine in qualy, so he didnt risk himself.
That first International race was one of the best races i have had the pleasure of calling.
I'm surprised Nicoletti didn't smoke everyone.
Some of those Doc Wob bikes are outstanding.
It's cool to watch Carson Brown rip Foxhills.
Sunday livestream.
Race order:
Does Christophe still live in the u.s.? I would have thought he returned to France? He never seemed to like it here much. He probably married an American woman that kept him here. Lol I'm just kidding but curious if he still lives here
He’s back in France , has been for quite a few years.
So I obviously don’t know much about the Vet MXDN so I’ll just go ahead and ask. Why’s he on Team USA?
Pit Row
It's a pretty informal event.
Dual citizenship.
The USA take the win

how was the event
its the first one i have not been to, although they have been spectacular, they seem to get more busy every year, which inadvertently taken a bit of the shine off for me
how did carson brown do, i would liked to see him ride
From my perspective: Overall a good weekend.
Total attendance was around the same, maybe slightly less than the year before. Sunday was noticeably busier than the Saturday. The heat made it a long weekend, not a lot of cloud so it was a scorcher. The track was incredibly dry, but the organisers did their best to keep the dust down and the track ride able. Really can't complain at the organisers for the conditions as the whole of the UK is a brown dust bowl at the moment.
I didn't ride the track, but I don't think the new track changes were an improvement. A tight right hander for the first corner lead to a lot of big pile ups in all classes in most of the races. Some of the more technical sections were removed and the track made a bit simpler with more jumps.
The classes were a bit bizzare this year, there were modern bikes (2005+) in pre 89 classes??? Lots of people that are universally known to be younger than the age cut off for classes (25 year olds in over 30 classes etc). Not a big deal I guess but just sort of makes you wonder why they have any class rules for ages and bikes and then don't police them even slightly.
The other issue I had as a spectator is in nearly every class there were a good handful of riders that had absolutely no business being there. Total novices that couldn't do any of the jumps and were getting lapped within 2 laps. It made the track messy and there were many scary moments when the leaders came up on them (sometimes twice in a 5 lap race). They really need to police the entries more because no one wants to watch a novice roll around Foxhill in 1st gear.
Fantastic racing otherwise, the top 10 in each class are incredible to watch and there were plenty of good battles in all classes. A generally well run event with loads to do and plenty of pro's etc. Carson Brown was epic to watch, without a doubt the most aggressive rider on the track, he hit everything with force and at full throttle. A very talented rider indeed!
If you want to watch it links are here.
Saturday
And Sunday
Pourcel is so good, still. Something about 2-strokes racing is just so much more fulfilling.
Neville Bradshaw on the 125
Ignite Moto had some great onboard videos
I see the race is at Hawkstone a sand track now. The years of bikes is expanded , Finally.
