I saw a video of some Deegz fan boy yelling at Jett, "He's coming for you next year!" To his credit, Jett said, "What did he get today?" Pretty epic reply. I'm not a super-fan of either of them. But it occurred to me. What if, since Deegz farted around and now can't move up for the last national, Honda enters both Jett and Hunter in the 250 class?? This strategy isn't without precedent. Imagine, Jo Schmoe out front and the Lawrence boys punting Deegz around like an Australian Rules football... Oh,,,, the meltdown!

Hunter and Jett racing the 250 class this weekend would light the mx world on fire! It would also give Eli a great shot at winning an overall this year. I love the idea! But HRC has too much class to do it.
I love this concoction but I'm on the beer. Let me think on it.🙃
This is bench racing. Making stuff up is part of hanging in a shop drinking beer. Stop the down votes. You guys are too serious. Have some fun.
Great trigger post.😅

In any case, I think Deegan needs to get no lower than about 12th place (assuming Shimoda wins), or something like that, I’m not a points expert. But it’s crucial that he finish both motos, so the pressure is on his team to make sure they don’t suffer an untimely mechanical failure. And I predict Haiden will play it smart and take it easy.
Do you want Honda to send Hunter in to take out Deegan?
Why would Hunter potentially give up second in points (and the bonus money that comes along with it) to help cheat Jo into a title?
Well, if HRC really leaned into cheating, they would compensate Hunta for it, since sweeping both outdoor titles is more valuable to the organization than getting first and second in one.
It’ll never happen.
I'm firmly in the camp that Deegan still needs to prove that he can run with Jett on the 450 before we can truly lean into the rivalry that's being hyped.
With that being said, lets say Deegan is "that guy". A true formidable opponent to Jett in the making. I don't know that it's a sure thing for Jett to drop down and straight up beat Deegan who's been ripping the 250 all year.. That'd be a helluva gamble.
Since we are bench racing here and kind of on the same topic.. Anyone think RC could have dropped down and beat James in 04?
Lol, not even if RC got to ride his 250. I remember a few times that year James (125) had faster lap times than RC (250).
And the last race was when James rode the 250F and he was finished and at home showering when second place crossed the line.....
What races did James turn faster laps than RC?
