And I never could figure how "lites" could refer to a bike that was 30 pounds over the 194 lb. minimum weight rule for the class it was competing in. Puzzling.....stupid.....Whitelockish?

lol good point newmann....

but regarding 125/250f im going with JBS...dont like Stewart at all, BUT respect what he did on that 125. If he woulda raced Alessi, RV, AC222, CP, and the more recent guys I gotta be honest: I think he woulda won. He was THAT fast.

Have to agree with you BLAH the little black kid was smoke fast on his KX........i watched him crash on the first lap of A2 in 04 or 05 and he just got up dusted himself off and smoked everyone had a 10 second lead by the time the checkers flew! but i do hope he gets in the mix this year......seeing him RD and RV battling for a win would be nice to watch!

RV was beat by a lot more guys than Stewart or Carmichael ever were...yeah he beat everyone on a 250F at Budds Creek but RV was trading moto wins with Townley, Grant, Lawrence and Dungey and never was the dominant rider. I mean he was beat by Canard in Trey's rookie season so no way was he the fastest. Stewart was the fastest 125 rider ever.

Barnett. If the motos were 40 +2 he might still be winning.

Bubba hands down. Dude used to beat guys by 30-50 seconds on a regular basis.

Bubba Hands down, When he raced east coast supercross on the 125 at atlanta they announced over the loudspeaker that he was 5 seconds faster than chad reed who had the fastest time in the 250 class after first practice. It was insane to see him rip on that 125

James stewart hands down. Youtube some of his 125 riding. At one time he was cutting lap times as fast as RC and CR on his 125 when they were on 450's at Elsinore, and at GH. Anyone else remember that?

Wrong. Back then, they hadn't implemented the "production rule" yet so the bikes he was racing were FAR superior to the ones of most of his "competition".

Bikes these days are ALL really good. There's only subtle differences and those mainly depend on the individual race teams' ability to fine tune the bike for each rider.

^ Emig had a lot of misfortune in those years. Henry was definitely more consistent though.

Bubba is the fastest 125 rider by far. He was housing those thumpers!
