Yeah I've been confused on the Gibson hype all year. SMX Next and Loretta's, he really hasn't shown anything at all.

Don’t ever watch F1 if you don’t like being told the truth.

He lead laps, had matching lap times to Jett in qualifying, won a heat race in sx.

Why do you only focus on the negatives?

Ah, so if Jorge Prado says it than it is "the truth."  Got it.  He has done himself and Kawasaki no favors by deflecting any personal responsibility for his performance.

The amateur system is broken, but too much money being made by "training facilities" for anything to change.

Well, Dudney just got 7th in moto 1 beating the likes of Smith, Masterpool, Kitchen, Difrancesco, Thrasher, Vohland, Forkner, Davies and Bennick. Perhaps it just wasn’t Gibson’s day.

While the focus has been on Prado looking for a way possible way out, I would think Kawi is increasingly open to the idea of him going elsewhere. Yes they want to make it work and win, but this is looking increasingly unlikely. He is NOT helping to sell bikes or improve the brand image.
I am more than willing to give him time to make it work, but the way he deflects any responsibility for the results is a big red flag. See how today’s motos go.

Isn't there talk of Kenny going green?

Kenny just told big Lew that he's almost certainly staying with his current team

Whilst you're correct, what if Jorge genuinely believes the bike isn't right (for him)? Are you expecting him to lie or just take the rap for the team who in his opinion cannot produce the machinery he is asking for? Well documented that Kawasaki are reluctant to change... If that is still true & Jorge is frustrated, why would we want him to lie??

He complained about the bike being too slow and he’s been starting up front off the starts. While I agree he’s frustrated and probably wants off that bike. But he gives up too easy, IMHO

He’s talented enough to stay on pace if he really wanted to. Mitchell Harrison just caught him and passed him on a privateer Green bike. He threw in the towel and dropped anchor

I feel bad for him, because of how much talent he has. He should be running up front with Jett.
