Yeah, this just comes down to how ready to race Kenny is.  If he’s been on the bike a bit and his fitness is close, he’s certainly better than 8-10.

Let's say theoretically you had this super trick YZ250. Let's say that while in between contracts, Kenny decided he wanted to race RBSR. And let's say you let him use your bike. And then lets say when all was said and done, Kenny didn't say "thank you" or acknowledge in any way that it was actually your bike. Theoretically, if that happened to you, it is conceivable that you would
a) not love Kenny
b) make a video in your backyard explaining why you don't love Kenny
c) periodically get tipsy and bench race with GL

just sayin...it's possible that some people don't love Kenny.

You mean Shit Stick?

Ken probably the only rider that will tell Prado to his face to STFU and get on with it afterwards too - it aint the bike.

Ken has consistently been one of the most finicky riders with bike set up struggles for years.

You are correct and a valid point. Save for his last year with Honda, I always look at Ken as being more positive - working to develop the Suzuki proactively instead of blaming it for bad results., hence my comment.

Awesome news! Love watching Kenny ride. Natural talent and a huge win for the fans! One thing I love about SMX is we seem to get a lot more of these type of returns.

Yes, Roczen is definitely not one of the 'just ride what you've got' crowd. He whinged the entire time he was with HRC.

He left Ktm after winning his rookie 450 Mx season saying he hated the bike, and winning wasn’t enough he also wanted to have fun.

He went to zook and took a full year to get the bike dialed

Left zook after winning title went to Honda - had early success - then massive crash - then set up issues - then new gen that initially solved issues - then issues got worse to the point he was afraid to go through whoops by the end.

Then back to zook - and they went round and round with suspension tuners until he’s comfy again finally.

I love him and not even bashing him, just pointing it out.

I’m glad he’s crushing it on the Suzuki and was so gutted when that lapper ruined his sx season this year.

The first run at Suzuki (RCH) involved the purchase of a stock motorcycle not unlike the Cooper Webb KTM situation I've heard.

Yeah, this just comes down to how ready to race Kenny is.  If he’s been on the bike a bit and his fitness is close, he’s certainly better than 8-10.

In his interview with Lewis it seemed like he hasn’t much bike time lately.  Ankle taking a bit longer to get right than expected.

I think a reasonable expectation is 5-10, just can’t seem him keeping pace with the Lawrences, Eli, RJ.

Was there any update about why he pulled off during the second moto? Hoping he didn’t hurt himself out there

Thought I heard Weege say he pulled off because he was tired and didn't want to risk a crash during the post-race coverage.
