It has to be a weird feeling to have posted in these kinds of threads as many times as Stephen has and then to wake up in the hospital to read there's one about you...

Hope everything is ok in the end. Still pounding out the prayers for him.

"Emily again.... Stephen was moved out of ICU yesterday and as of right now he will be moved to a room on the Spinal Cord Rehab floor at Metro today. Once he is there we will update everyone with a room number and address for those that want to send him anything or come visit. He will have a computer soon, so keep all of the messages coming and we will make sure he seems them.

Also, if someone can post on VitalMx and let them know, his girlfriend is bringing him all of the posts from there (including the article from mxmedic). One of the first things Stephen asked for was a computer, probably so he could get on Vital, so i'm sure he will really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. "

Sounds like we'll hear from Stephen soon here on Vital. I hope these posts give him some sense of comfort because anything positive is huge right now.

Hey guys,I'm the Jon16 from over at Pitracer.com.
Thanks for all of the support and prayers towards Stephen.

He hasn't seen this post yet, but I'm sure he will later today.

I just updated over at Pitracer, and I'll copy/paste it here.


Quick update. I'll have his room number, etc in a little bit as soon as they text it to me.

He has been in a lot of pain today. But good pain! I was told after he went for x-rays today, that he has been having a weird feeling in his legs, painful enough that he hasn't been feeling good. He said he also feels some sort of pressure in his one foot.

I'll update this post with the room number, address when I get the info.

I'm going to try to set up a paypal account for donations tonight also. If I can't get a "donation account" made, people can send stuff to my paypal address, and I'll make sure it all gets to him.

Keep the support, prayers, and positive thoughts coming!

Doing the same. Can't wait to see a post from the man himself. I'm sure at this point the meds have him in Lah Lah land. Which I'm sure is a much better place than feeling all the pain he must be enduring at this point. This just sucks . I am always proud to be part of the MX community when this kind of stuff happens though. We , as a tight nit community, always come together at times like these for our fallen brothers and reach out as much as we all can. As soon as I get paid in 11 days I will for sure be hitting up that pay pal account. I know anything helps. Lets say there's 10,000 vital members/lurkers and if we all just send a small amount of $20 each that's 200k in Stephens hands for treatment , wheelchairs , or whatever he may need. What's crazy about the USA health care is that 200k when all is said and done will be just a drop in the bucket towards his incredible bills.
