Looking for baseline jetting specs for this CW 295 big bore kit. I assume it’s close to the KTM 300 spec but I wanted to check in. @digger you got any info on this?

I'm not a huge fan of using the shorty on the 295 combo.
Yeah I have the long silencer that I’ll be throwing back on for the 295. I smoked my top end at NHMX last week so my plan was to have TMR do his magic in the winter. In the meantime I bought this kit to hold me over. Probably should have stayed stock bore. 🤷♂️
JD doesn’t have the #8 in stock. I’ll order that CJ needle I keep seeing guys rave about them. I have a 40PJ you think that too lean for this setup? I’ll order that 45 though.
Give us an update on how the 295 kit is. I smoked my cylinder too, probably will get it replated, but the idea of a 295 is always nice.
The 40pj will work fine, but you're going to want the #8 slide and a new throttle cable holder though. The #8 slide works just as well in the 250 as it does in the 300. You won't be able to use the Yamaha spring loaded holder in the new slide. It will cause the needle to break over time.
