If you come with enough cash to put your name in front of Honda, I`m sure they will find another bike somewhere.

Vodafone and Verizon are not the same company. Vodafone only owns 45% of Verizon.

But I see your point. Things could get interesting...

45% of Verizon is about 100 billion.

Neat to see a different sponsor other than an energy drink. Why is there a #1 on his bike? He isn't a current champion is Australia is he?

100 billion subscribers or revenue???

OK I really didn't want to get in a pissing competition about figures because 100 billion is a little over the top considering Verizon is only in the USA and the total population for the USA is just over 310 million...

Verizons total revenue is $27billion ($12.15 billion for Vodafone)
Verizons total subscribers is 93 million incl. wireless, internet and TV (41.85milion for Vodafone)

So now that todays maths lesson is over I'll get to my point. And that is, it is pointless Blink assuming that there will be a Verizon deal based solely on the fact that Reed has a Vodafone deal as they are not the same company as you implied, when typing Vodafone (Verizon), in your original post . One has shares in the other, not total ownership. Get it??? Huh

And besides all that, Team Vodafone has very little manufacturer branding on their cars. Just a small Holden logo on the front grille. Heck they even coverred the Ford logo on last year cars beause Ford would not come to the party with $$$. I can't see Factory Honda being happy with that. Maybe a satelite team, but not Factory Honda.

There is a reason you don't see telecom company sponsorship in much of anything in the USA...

Telecom companies don't make that much money.

I figured you would see a Verizon/Reed team at first but it seems Verizon and Vodafone don't exactly have the best relationship. Vodafone has been in talks with Verizon about either splitting from them or buying Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless does not pay dividends to Vodafone. This is what has caused a rocky relationship between the two.

Yeah but theres no Vodafone in the USA so that means there sponsorship will be useless. Will never happen unless ones buys out the other or we get Vodafone here.

Useless, maybe. Unless Aussie TV covers US SX, and Vodafone sees some value in that.

Maybe you are right? Boost mobile didnt hang around long, although i am sure they are hardly in the same league as Vodafone.

Hope he is well enough to race. You know Epstein Barr just does not go away overnight. You don't think he made that up do you?

Hey smartass, I made that comment because someone else made a comment that they were surprised that it didn't have factory suspension. PC A-kit is pretty close to factory these days.

And besides, Kdub and Metty ran stock suspension components all year on their Geico bikes...
Kdub and metty ran SOME stock components, but trust me, their suspension was far from stock. Matthes talked about it on his show.

I hope Reed races the AMA circuit one more time in a bid to go out on top, then moves on. However there is not even a hint of that happening at the moment.
I don't think he's competitive in the U.S. anymore, at least for winning an outdoor title.

I think he's smart and that he knows that.

The transition from bikes to cars is probably about to happen.
