As for RMZ819... ,I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion when it comes to the sport and the riders.
However, I have been reading his shit for the past 5 or 6 years or so (even on mototalk) and 95% of the negative stuff he spews,he always ends up being wrong about.
Maybe 2% he is right about and 3% close to,but it does get old....

That wasn't much of a click. Sometimes guys like to play suicide by moderator. He went to the mat really early.

The thing is, people think that the the more controversial their posts, the better it is for business around here. Like we need them to be controversial to generate page views.

While it's true that controversy generates activity, it's kind of worthless if it's nonsense, or just controversy for controversy's sake. If you really want to dazzle us with something, try some factual stuff that no one else has posted yet.

DirtyFilter owned this place for about 5 minutes. He don't post here no more. Ringer owns this place for about 30 seconds a month. He's so bad ass he requires a double-click.

Just call me grumpy today.

The thing is, I like to come here for entertainment just as much as anyone else. I don't like to come here to battle with people, send warring parties back to their respective corners, or dispense timeouts.

The first week or two of the off-season was all right. There were interesting topics and some decent debate. Now? Not so much.

Heh...even that Roost BMX interview is probably seven or eight years old.

I started racing BMX in maybe '72 or '72, took a few years off, and got into it really heavily from probably '77 through '82. The first race I did was at one of Kevin McNeal's tracks in Riverside...that was on a Schwinn Stingray. Later races included one on a Yamaha Moto-Bike (I rode that thing into the ground...literally). During my racing days I rode for Rick's Bicycle City (Torker and Mongoose), RRS (on a Mongoose), Malcolm Smith, SE Racing (on a PK Ripper), and The Bicycle Source (Pro Neck).

My local tracks were Fontana, Corona, and Azusa (back when Rich Long was running it). Corona was the most fun, but Azusa was the toughest. The Wednesday night races there regularly featured a bunch of fast guys like Leary, McNeal, Clint Miller, etc. Making the move from novice to expert there was rather brutal.
