I've seen some very old posts on this subject so I'm looking for some information on companies that sell a rim, hub, spokes tried and ready to go.
I know fasterusa is highly recommended but who else is out there besides Dubya(spelling).
Prices have gone way up since the 2016 post.
I could buy separately, lace and true myself but I've never done it and it seems like a real pita.
Thanks everyone.
Warp9 was a decent cheaper option years ago. Not sure where they are at now.
I went with FasterUSA. Shipped to my door for like $1,280
Not even on the bike and already cooking.

Looks sweet. I can't decide on black or blue rims with blue hubs on my Husky.
I picked up my last bike with a set of KSR built wheels new in the box. Enzo hubs and DID STX rims, they have been fantastic.
I don't know anything about KSR hubs but that on Dirtstars for $799 is an awesome price.
Wheelwx.com
Kevin builds incredible wheels, great price point and fast service.
Definitely worth a look.
And based in NJ no less
Thanks. There website is pretty bad but the pre built wheelsets with Wheelworks rims and hubs I have no info about. I try to build a set by adding rims, spokes, true and lace but there are no hubs to select at all. Wth? I emailed them. Which wheels did you go with and your experience?
Funny thing, I never saw his (Kevin/Wheel Werx) website before. His shop is 40 minutes from my house. So I would just stop in, talk about the build I needed wheels for, design the wheels and boom, pick them up as soon as he was done building them.
For my 2023 KX450 SR, I went with his hubs, his rims, his HD spokes. I personally have been very easy on wheels. I never broke a wheel, and I do maintain my wheels regularly. This is my first set of black rims from WW, as I normally will go silver or gold. Black looks kind of crappy after a while. With 10 hours, these look better than any KTM black rims I have owned.
Some friends use west coast wheel guys (not sure why???) and these wheels look as good, hold up as well and costs less.
My vintage wheels look outstanding. He uses a great powder coater and the wheels really pop.
Definitely my wheeel builder from here on out. I have been using Kevin/WW since 2021.
Blue hubs, Gold rims for the win.
Wow!
