Wanted to see if people can point me to tracks within about a 1.5 hour drive from the Orlando area. I can Google search and see the few tracks that pop up with websites, but assume there are probably more? Also wondering if there are any private tracks in the area. I don’t expect anyone to divulge the locations of private tracks…otherwise they wouldn’t be private! But if know they are out there, I can at least ask around. Heading to the area for awhile and looking for some direction, thanks much —

PaxTrax in Bunnel is awesome…May be slightly longer than 1,5 hrs away but Moto Bros in Okeechobee is epic and worth the extra 15 minutes…everyone in Florida drives 100 mph so, you can make good time….
Orlando mx and Dade City. Waldo mx is an extra 20 mins. All good tracks.
I'm in Clermont, West of Orlando. We moved here about 2 years ago. Here are the tracks I've been to in order of preference:
1) Pax is my favorite. I try to get there at opening, usually at 9am, and leave the house around 7am. It takes 1.5 hours in the morning and almost 2 hours leaving Pax around 2pm. Damn I-4 traffic!
2) OrlandoMX is 45 mins.
3) MotoBros Okeechobee is 2 hours.
4) Dade City Raceway is an hour. I don't like how they charge everyone $15 just to enter then add the riding fee.
Thank you to the people who replied. It is all helpful information. I have heard of all of those tracks, but hearing people's opinions about how long of a drive they are, and which ones are more preferred, is great to hear, thank you!

Does motobros still do a gate fee + ride fee also?
Motobros in Punta Gorda is just $50 for practice days. No extra gate fee
Yes, I forgot to mention that. It's a $15 gate fee for riders and non-riders and $30 ride fee.
Yeah that’s crazyyy.
Almost all of our tracks are $50 or close to it. Everything has gone up, can’t expect track prices to be an exception
You guys would defend track owners if they charged you $100
Sure would. Without the tracks, I wouldn’t have anywhere to ride.
Can’t imagine being a grown man upset over a $15 difference to ride a 5-12k dirt bike.
Their business, their fees. I'd rather have the option to pay an extra $10 to ride than no option at all. Drink one less beer at the bar and the upcharge is covered
You’d pay $100 a weekend to ride?
If that’s what the cost was, then yeah. Even at $100 it would still be the cheapest part of moto while being the most vital lol
What is your price where you draw the line? You'd really spend $400 a month in entry fees? I call nonsense honestly I think you're just blowing smoke on here.
Is Bostwick the one with dark sand? How far ?
What would you have him do, Owen?
Thats PaxTrax…20-25 mins northwest of Daytona…epic track
Pit Row
I pay $90 to ride the farm in dade city so not blowing smoke.
I spend more than $100 to go fishing, boating or to play golf and I don’t enjoy those nearly as much as moto.
moto will continue to get more expensive and I’ve just swallowed that pill and accepted it.
Thanks for all of the responses. I was just looking for direction on places to ride, but this kind of morphed into the cost of riding. I will mention that I am currently in the Midwest about halfway between Red Bud and Millville, obviously two national caliber tracks and great facilities. There are also a handful of tracks around here that I would put up against any tracks in the country for the quality of the dirt, track layout and maintenance and organization of the owner/operator. All of these places generally range from $35 to $50 on a practice day. That said, if someone was charging $100 and I decided to pay it, all I can say is that I would be the first guy on the track and the last one to leave and I would burn as much gas as possible!
So where's the line? I'm curious at this point. $200? $300?
