I have become intrigued by the Guts racing wing seat. I would like to try it, but I can't justify the $400 plus price tag for the complete seat. I wonder if their is a similar item on the market that I could try, something like the corner coach that lets you test whether a seat bump would be to your liking or not. I.am aware that they offer the cover only, and I imagine that I will.probably end up getting one, just wondering if their was a quick and easy (and cheap) way to try out the concept before I pop for the cover than you.

Just buy the seat cover, that's what I do. And I use it when hammering whoops to grip the bike, off road though, not moto

So in your opinion it's worth it?

I understand the feeling of not spending 400. I didn't either. I love the Guts Wing Seat, luckily enough you can buy just the cover and install it yourself. Its a battle if you're not great at installing seat covers as well. I find that the effectiveness of the seat cover depends on the bike and your height as well.

On my KX450X it was absolutely fabulous, while on my 2024 YZ450 it wasn't nearly as useful. Id take the time to measure where your legs and knees reach the bike to see if its even a viable option for your build.

Other possibilities are the corner coach like you said, a basic gripper seat cover and StegPegz. Ive tried all of them and ended up back to a standard gripper seat. I loved the Stegpegz but I had issues with the right side mounting bracket sticking out too far for my liking, on top of having size 12 feet.

I'm 5,10, 230 pounds and it 90% legs and ass.

Message me, I have exactly what you need. I have one from a 21 all red, the cover was an absolute bitch to install so it’s wrinkly, but more than enough for you to see if you like it!

For sure, I use them on all my bikes. Keeps you locked in at high speeds. Not sure for moto though, never used one for that. I run long  fast sand washes, whoop sections, ect off road and I can squeeze my legs and use the wing to keep me centered on the bike. Love these things

I got one to try a few weeks ago on my 24 KX450 (cover only) and I really like it. Also it was very easy to install.

Seat cover only is the move. Best thing ever.
