How much money does he want? To quote the great matthes "with grant signing with honda, that sound you hear is another door slamming on Pourcel and his price tag. Hrd ktm doesn't want him either"
And if it's a rediculous amount, can he really expect that much after giving away the title?

I think what any team who's seriously looking at him is thinking of is potential. It's not like they're buying a championship.
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
He is super talented but Teams are running scared as far as putting money out purely on potential.
"hey sign that guy up for $3 mill a year.....i think he has potential! Well son why do you think he has so much potential? Well he ALMOST won 2 championships, he recovered from blowing out his back and even tho he just blew out his shoulder.....i really think he has potential........O.K. give him $3 mill gauranteed to ride for us!"
Anyone who's not looking for him to add to their team is a fool.
What happened at the last national means nothing!!
His value is whatever the highest bidder wants to pay. The kid is a winner and will be a force on the big bike.
That dude milked that 1 moto for 5 yrs. Not to shabby if you ask me.
Pit Row
Still heavy stuff, not sure how long it'll take him.
Bad timing for sure but, along with Reed, he remains the best potential 450SX talent $$$ can buy right now on the market.
I think Townley did pretty well on the Pro Circuit bike also.
Hangtown: Sacramento, CA
Moto 1 Moto 2 Points
1 Ben Townley (Kawasaki) 2 1 47
2 Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) 1 2 47
3 Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) 3 3 40
go RV
And he'll bank more than a million this year.
Mathes hates all riders, not just Pourcel so don't put too much weight in to his stories, observations or opinions.
