Sorry guys, no soft-core TWMX porn here (what a huge disappointment -I know), just good ‘ol fashion POV from a trail rider who came out to race the Great Lakes Grand Prix at the Otsego Club and [ski] Resort in Gaylord, Michigan this past weekend.
Last year I posted a thread on local pro rider Jerry Lorenz and his Go-Pro lap from the 1st annual GLGP. This year, I’m posting a video from a lesser-known rider, who came out to the quasi-motocross event to just have fun with his buddies (which can be seen towards the end of the video when he stops to help a downed rider). It's a little bit slower than you might expect (the rider was messing around with his buddy quite a bit), but on the other hand, it gives you a good look at the surroundings and what kind of old-school moto track can be created on a world-class, 4 seasons resort.
P.S.
Be sure to watch RacerX later today when they release the event recap video, which covers a lot of racing, as well as a bit of the lighter side from the event (i.e. Dodgeball?).

1. That dirt is amazing!!!!
2. I race motocross, but I love to do CC races too, they are so much fun. No stress, just having fun.
3. Thanks for sharing
Good times
Pit Row
Much of the track has a loamy-sandy feel (the plant matter from surrounding deciduous trees, coupled with a high water table keeps the sand from getting dry and silty). When you get into areas more surrounded by woods, the dirt gets much loamier (as you might expect).
@Motodave15: The classes that ran that moto were Open C, Open D, and the Enduro class. As I said in the opening of the thread, I wanted to do the opposite end of the spectrum, as last year I posted a POV video from one of Michigan's top A riders. If you want to watch those, reference the links in my previous post.
72kiteboarder should like this... some "serious" dodgeball action was captured in this video, along with the racing.
