Indeed, he is quite complimentary of Trump. I don't think Trump was involved, but I think he knows some people that were (which is not to say he knew what they were doing at the time).

This is certainly a far cry from what you generally see in the media. Sometimes it's not as much an outright lie as it it a purposeful omission - it doesn't fit with the narrative that they're pushing, so they just leave it out, which is still a form of dishonesty.
