The judge blocked the release of the Grand Jury Testimony, because the unseal was based on "extensive public interest" and not as part of a legal proceeding.
I don't know why the Dems sat on the Epstein files for years, the MAGA conspiracy theory was they were protecting their own.
Now Trump is sitting on the Epstein files, the conspiracy theory is he is protecting himself and other people with power and money.
Trump doesn't need a judge's approval to release the Epstein files held by the Department of Justice, only the Grand Jury testimony. The files could be released today by Presidential order.
