I'm not sure how "privateer" we'd consider Eleven 10 mods, but didn't Darryn Durham holes hot a moto at his home track at high point one year before he got his PC ride?

Lots of locals used to finish really well at Southwick back in the '80's and '90's. Not only was  it the only sand track, it was the only track with an asphalt starting gate.

Indeed, or at least he was in the top 3 at worst. I wanna say it was moto 2, 2011

Not exactly a privateer effort, but Phil’s holeshot at SMX last season had me jumping out of the couch.

Honorable mention for the year he started second or third at Freestone and went on to lead the race til he ran out of fuel. E10 years.
