I had to get some contact cleaner earlier today and was kind of surprised to see the new 350 on display at the shop. It was almost like a spotlight was on it. It along with the 2011 450 were just chillin under a ktm e-z up sitting there on stands looking damn good while the new crf 450 was chilling next to the 2010 450 in the corner of the shop.
At first glance it totally looks like a bike I could rock no doubt. When I sat on it it felt like a honda, except for the wierd cross bar pad. Oh and the front fender looks like and ass or something to that shape.
I want one now bad. Anyone buy one or ride one yet??

I ride A BTW - nothing I have ridden comes anywhere close FOR ME out of the box. Only bike that I feel had similar good qualities but many much worse qualities is the new honda 450's.
Motor is exactly what it is, a 350 - if you are a point and shoot rider - definitely not for you.
Only time will tell on reliability and what not, and I dont own one - but it completely changed my mind on KTM.
"Bottom end like a 250f but pulllls as fast as a 450 on top end"
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Free shipping: VITALMX
-foot pegs are high and quite small
-handlebar is low and bends too much for my opinion
-thorttle response are very good
-motor was agressive (maybe becouse i ride 250f)
-in saddle there is not so big hole than 2010 has
-linkage feels better in small whoops
If they do make a move towards aluminium it'll for the same reason they went to a linkage... Public perception.
I reckon they'll release the fuel injection for the 450 next year, as Nagl was testing it in Leirop and it looked good. Haven't ridden one but Iv'e seen the 350 in action and it didn't look like it lacked anything out on the track. Having said that, the guy riding it was quite good, so it's hard to judge. If you're a big guy it isn't likely to work that well imo. For obvious reasons.
