Matt Bigos got me thinking...

There has to be at least 2000 people here on Vital reading or posting, let's each donate $10.00 (not bank breaking my any means), that's a good amount of money $20k, we either donate it to Doc Bodner and the Asterisks Medical team or we pick a privateer or two (east & west), we all agree/vote on, that will be doing the SX's and donate him/them the cash, that's a lot of fuel to get around on.

Oh and if you can do more great, or get other sponsors to donate more power to you, I'd like to see a "VitalMX Forum Posters/Boarders" sticker on the back of someone or something.

It would probably start a shitstorm, but I've already donated a good bit of chump change to a couple of deserving privateers that have rolled through here. Ten bucks is probably all it would take to keep a bunch of the assclowns out of here as well.Smile

nooooooooooo I'm not saying we'd pay for Vital, I just meant we post here let's pitch in $10.00 to something Moto and give it on behalf of VitalMX, we all know who we are...My point being it's only $10.00

Sondra, you couldn't get everyone here to agree on what to have for lunch, even if it was free, much less who to sponsor or donate $20K to.

and those who don't get their way, won't pay up

Don't mean to be a buzzkill, but thems the facts

Cost enough to go racing on my dime,What about just donating a designated rider with a vote and help that way.

I would not pay to post, posting creates content and even through the majority of the content around here is pretty lame it is that content that drives hits and hits drives advertising and advertising drives revenue for the site.

Why should I pay to help provide content so someone else can make a buck.

Come up with a good cause and I will donate $10, If it is not a good cause then I won't.

Yeah I see that and the debbie downers who post just to see their own post counts go up sheesh, just thought that since ProRide.com who has far less members could pull this off maybe we could, sorry for even trying.

Listen here buddy =)

Asterisks pays for Doc Bodnar and the medical Rig & Team to go to all the SX's and Nationals out of their own freakin pocket. A team of Medical personnel who takes care of the Riders that we love to watch and talk about on a regular basis, if that's not a good cause then I don't know what is...capische ??

True . How about splitting it and 10 grand to the top privateer of each region at the end of the series... of course then comes the argument over what a real privateer is .

You can try, and I'm in, no problem
But ProRide is a lot smaller, tighter knit group than this place is....it was at one time, but not so much any longer

I thought it is/was an interesting idea, but, it's hard to get anyone here to put their money where there mouth is.

I tried to get folks to donate for the Magoo fund (along with Gibby's efforts). There were a handful of folks that stepped up and that was a good deal.

On the other hand, most wouldn't even toss out a few dollars to help a legend.

This is a good idea too. All of the potential candidates have to be identified by the end of the second round of the particular series.

I guess when I wrote the Title above it sounded right in my mind, I meant you post here for free, if you paid $10.00 it'd still be worth it, let's keep posting here for FREE but chip in $10.00 to a good cause, privateer(s) or Doc Bodnar !!

I'd pay $25 just to get an "ignore user" button.

That's an interesting thought. They could come out with that feature but anyone that wants to use it has to pay. Maybe it could be on a per user ignored basis as well. That could be very lucrative. Smile

i made a post about paying to have posting rights reinstated for those who are clicked.

i think a donation paypal account would be sweet, but at the end of the year it may only have a couple hundred dollars. people are cheap.

I still find it hard to believe that people paid $30 a year to post at moto talk. SUCKERS!

I got on here just recently to see what’s going on with the MXoN. For the most part it has been a favorite site to get some good info and to figure out who’s who. Most here are front runners with a few lappers mixed in but all-in-all a good forum to come to. 10.00 is not allot of money to donate to something you use ones a month, 4 times a months,3 times a week are even 12 times a day which some folks do.

Try just giving to someone that doesn’t even ask for your help but you can see that they need it and you will recognize the good you have done for them and more importantly yourself.

PM me or email me Sondy when you get this figured out.

Maybe GuyB could charge a nickel per spelling/grammatical error and donate the proceeds to Asterisks Medical. They would have more money than they know what to do with.
