I randomly hop on Google Earth and, check out other countries. Today, I checked out Iran. One thing I noticed was, almost all of the vehicles driven around Teheran were white. Why is that? Just curious.

I’d imagine it’s due to cost and also the fact they live in an oven.
The dark cars and, the oven part came to mind and, makes sense. Just seems odd to me. 🤷♂️
Is it possible they’re just lighter colors and appear white because of the satellite imagery? Idk
White is always cheaper, hence South africa having so many white cars.
If I lived in that oven I'd also choose white.

White Toyota and Nissan trucks…in the ME…it’s a thing. 😂
I can only say what I saw in Saudi. 90% or more of the vehicles are white due to the heat. Exceptions were the taxis and busses. If you saw a red, green, or black car/suv it was someone with enough money to not give a shit.
Funny observation, outside the gates of the base(we were operating on the Saudi base at Taif) there were vast seas of abandoned vehicles. I asked the American contractors why they were there. They laughed and said, everything from out of gas, flat tires to blown engines. The tow truck sees the base sticker, tows them to the gate and dumps them.
There are plenty of places in Eastern Washington where it seems like at least 8 out of every 10 vehicles are white. Especially in the Columbia Basin. White doesn't seem to show dirt and dust quite as much as a dark color does, and of the 7 company vehicles I had while working in that industry, all of them were white (although some had some other 'trim' colors').
Farm, Ranch, Ag vehicles…?
If you are ever wanted by the FBI just drive a white CRV and you'll have no worries.
