The Spanish are 'family' orientated people.
Looked the same on pressday now to in the video Vital posted. Rolling around on half throttle and making the 250’s look like rockets.
It’s clear that the bike don’t produce enough power in the RPM’s where he wants to ride it, but until the bike does he, has to do like Elvis and REEEEV it!.
I don’t know if he tries to get Kawasaki to lose their patience and let him go because he don’t look like he tries one bit out there and when interviewed he does not sound interested any more.
Weren’t you just lecturing us in the Carmichael thread on “looking fast on video doesn’t mean anything”?
Im past trying to get you to understand things…

I don't have insta but I saw this on twitter
ML directly asked Prado if he was considering going back to GP and he didn’t say no. He gave some weird answer about believing he can win here. It was an odd interview. He seemed pissed before that question was even asked though.
Jorge's comments is normal in Spain or any Latin culture, he supports his sister. Anyone seeing something different is sick on their mind.
Boy you're really going the extra mile to give Prado every excuse you can, huh? The bike isn't the problem, Prado is the problem. Jett would still be winning on that Kawi
So me saying that he does not look like he tries one bit out there is making a excuse for him? Read it a couple of times more and maybe you will start to understand.
This is Jett’s third year on the Honda 450 and he recently got 3rd in a moto he would normally win, just because the shock setting was slightly off. I have no doubt he’d win on the Kawi, but only if given time to set it up.
I’m also not buying Prado’s issues being totally the bike either, but people are both misinterpreting what he’s saying and totally underestimating how small the margins are between winning and losing at that level.
Pretty innocuous mate.
He seems like a great person. I think he will be significantly better this weekend. I hope so. I don’t see how anyone can have an issue with him.
Go watch the press day interviews from Southwick and compare the 2 euro's interviews. Prado seems deflated and gives murky responses to questions and Harrup give positive vibe and actually responds in detail to questions.
Hi highly doubt the dipshit knows what that means.
Dude looks/sounds like he's having a miserable time. The man is clearly not happy about something.
AC222 should go give Jorge a pep talk. They were teammates and training partners at De Carli for awhile.
That would make him the eleventh fastest
I was wrong....another disappointing race,,,,,,
Pit Row
Different culture is what this is about.
You making comment on this is no different than me questioning you snooping on a foreign riders sisters sm. Borderline creepy.
So should we hope Prado just moves back home and rides GP’s?
I think he is a great person and wanted to come race in the US. Thats awesome. I look forward seeing him gain confidence and progress.
Chad Reed also enjoys Prado.
No different than if you decided to race mx. I always enjoy people progressing.
Enjoy our sport.
In all fairness the back end of that bike looked terrible at high speed and unpredictable when transferring weight, He looked hesitant to not keep his weight where the bike wanted it
Different culture is probably right yes. I've always watched MXGP and been a Prado fan since his EMX debut pretty much. Him and his sister seemed to be best friends since forever and that is cool. I also think the "incest" comments are way over the top for sure, I would never go that far, not even as a joke. I just said I think comments like that are weird to me, that doesn't mean I hate the guy or want him not to be out there, I don't know how you came to that conclusion.
If you go through my history you'll see that I was one of the biggest Prado glazers on here and very excited for him coming to the US. Anyways, have a great evening
👍
The results don't necessarily show it but he was looking muuuuch better. Especially moto 2 these first laps. Still not 100% I think but it's night and day if you compare with the first 4 rounds. He was looking much looser, jumping bumps, etc.
With the progress he did this two motos, this should translate well to both Redbud and Millville.
Good to see Prado up front. Us fans are fortunate to see him and these other foreigners come and race here.
And no, Eli is not washed up. Its called evolution and Jett has raised the bar. Jett is that guy now. And as much as I like Jett, its fun to cheer on the other riders ,( doesnt matter who it is)to beat him.
Fun to see Barcia, Malcolm in the middle, Anderson, Tomac and the late 20’s guys out there. Pleading now that they stay 2 more years at least. Shout out to Larusso also. Next year you will make the show. 💪
I remember when Dungey raced a couple years ago, he commented that the pace up front had risen since he last raced. Amazing him still running top 5-6. Speaking of that, maybe Ducati would offer him a ride.
Hopefully... I swear I can't handle another moto of just rolling around and getting smoked by John Short. I'm out.
This is our first race seeing Jorge as James said the others have been George - think this is the race that turns it around and he should be a solid top 5 guy now. Looked like a different rider - yes Tomac was faster but to hold him off for 15-20min per moto is still a massive step forward.
Well done Jorge p keep at it !
I occasionally go full vitard too but please some guys behave, some comments would go so south on any european terrace, like it would in the US too.
Anyway, congrats on the top 5, it was good racing in both classes today, like always.
Yes it looked better but in the second race 1.30 behind the winner......you also see his mentality.. small crash and he suddenly starts riding a lot slower instead of trying to catch up
Post a reply to: Prado’s first season in the US in his words
