$30K for these two bikes is actually a very good price.

Stav was trying to sell the 4 bikes for $15k each since last November/december when he switched to Yamaha.
No one bought them until recently. The guy posting on ebay is someone that bought the 4 bikes and trying to make a profit reselling them I’m assuming. But now he is back selling them at $30k for 2 bikes so $15k each, so same price Stav was selling them.

But you’re right that $15k is a great price for that bike!

It’s a 10h service interval, they were shipping them back to PC for service, they weren’t allowed to open them.

Wonder how a satellite team at this level has the budget to build and maintain these 250Fs. I feel like we always hear it's not possible.

It’s all funded by Stav’s dad! He owns Bar aviation and also Extreme Park Busika (the 2 main sponsors).

I know the family well, I spent 2 months in Uganda with them in 2019. Really good family, really humble, you wouldn’t know that they have LOTS of money, they keep it fairly simple. His dad made it happen and built his businesses from nothing over the last 20 years.

Never seen that pronunciation before. Maybe the seller is not a native English speaker (no shame in that).

Nice bikes!

Seems like whoever posted these for sale probably isn't the most knowledgeable about the bikes.

"Must run on MR pro 2 gas"

To be honest, I don't understand the hype with owning one of these. Sweet, you have a bike with a piston that's "not available to the public" that's meant to be ridden hard and last 10 hours max. What happens when that needs replaced? Along w/ the other engine parts.

Also, the suspension on these bikes are absolutely HAMMERED. Zoom in on the shock rod and the top of the fork caps. Probably 400 hours of ride time on all that shit. Post says the shocks are from 2021 and forks from 2020 race team.

EDIT: Just saw the post from Romain above about the bikes being bought and now resold. That makes sense.

The Bar Aviation team was here in Michigan practicing at our local sand track (Supercoops MX) last weekend.

Orland, Venter, and another guy #584 on a KTM were freakin hauling.  Fun to watch.

*Note - They were not riding the bikes from the ad.

As for the spec:

I think I remember hearing Mitch say he'll sell the full-race spec to anybody. (That could be marketing hyperbole, however.)
His reasoning was: "Who cares if it isn't one my team riders who wins, as long as it's a Pro Circuit motor?" After all, he's in the business of selling things, not winning races. The winning only helps him sell PC products. If a privateer has a PC bike and it helps him improve his finishes, so much the better.

I imagine there is some amount of "special" development that doesn't trickle down to the public, of course.

Ask Brownie if he was getting the full race spec on his CRFs.

Back in the day if I remember correctly Geico Honda was having their Motors built by pro circuit and they didn't believe they were getting everything they could out of them as the pro circuit bikes would pull them so they brought the motor program in house and started winning LOL Mitch is very competitive he's not going to give you everything that he gives his team!

What do you mean, weren't allow to open them? I'm pretty sure if I own something I can do whatever I want to it...

Sure, open the thing up. Find out that nothing you can buy works or will fit. Then try to ship it to them after its been unsealed for the service/parts and they tell you to pound sand because you opened it up. You definitely can do whatever you want, but an ecosystem like that needs specific parts and that very well could be a stipulation. You may just be left with a bin of parts that are good for nothing, but you own them.

Keep watching the auction and you could get them for an even better price...it's down $1k from the image Xeno posted on the 19th.
