I figured I'd start my own thread, because what the hell, ML's fee is pretty dang reasonable.
Ok, so I've been tracking this conflict decently close the past week. How it was going wasn't making much sense to me, until I think I had an epiphany on a key breakthrough, which is the Trump factor.
I'll start off by saying that I'm a thrice Trump voter, and threw some cash his way during the last election. I know this guy ain't the messiah, but come on, the Democrats are a fricken joke of the highest magnitude, especially during this past election cycle. If I'm going to have a leader captured by the military industrial complex running things, I'd rather have someone with some entertainment mixed in, rather than a fake as f*ck moral superiority complex asshole shoveling woke BS out by the ton.
The epiphany would be that I think that Trump is faking it with the tough on Iran/ starting a new middle east regime change talk. I think that he would rather stick to his strengths: tough on the border, tough on illegals, pissing off liberals and patting himself on the back. I don't think he wants to stick his neck out with another regime change operation. In the past he has been very critical of the disaster of Iraq and Afghanistan. I think he'd rather just stick to running meme coin crypto scams and getting himself and his family more cash. Hey, it's a free country, and if you want to buy the next shit-coin, that's on you.
The reason I think he's faking it is because he's probably getting a shit-ton of pressure from the neo-cons and war mongers. I'm sure they love the belligerent social media posts like "Iran must surrender unconditionally!!" I think he knows that if doesn't play ball, that he'll get RFK'd by these military industrial complex f*ck-tards. I think he's putting on a big show of it and just buying time. Initially alot of his backers like Tucker were critical of his rhetoric, but have since cooled down and got in line. I think they must have either been notified, or have read between the lines on what the strategy is.
Time will tell on if I'm way off base here.

He wants to make a deal, so he can say he made a deal. He will benefit from it somehow. I’d be surprised if he does the right thing on this.

Take out the Islamic regime that wants to have a nuclear bomb, because if they get it, there will be a cascade of events take place that are no good for the world. Their whole ideology is based on a global caliphate. Sounds like he can do no wrong in your eyes. He does good and bad things, he’s been vacillating on this. I suspect he will not follow through and allow the regime to stay in power with some kind of assurance they won’t try to make a nuke.
