Like Everts, you seem set on finishing your career in Europe. Is there a chance we will ever see you in America for a season, or maybe just for a few rounds?
For 2011 I still have the contract with KTM to ride the GP season in Europe. I'm always in for an adventure, and yes, as long as it's going to be a good combination of schedules (and if its OK for KTM), I'd like to come over for one or maybe more outdoors in America next season. I'm also still talking about it with KTM, but the plan is to ride the first two SX in USA as well. I like supercross, but I'll just see it as a nice experience.

Would be good to see him race a few Nationals next year... maybe if Dungey is KTM he can race a couple GPs too.... Not sure how he will do in Supercross I think Musquin is helping him get ready for Bercy.
How many times does he need to say Dungey is one of the best in the world to stop the haters? lol
Then he & KTM concentrated on going after that World Championship, and bagging it.
Probably the right decision for him & KTM.
But who knows...maybe he will be in a situation to come over and do a couple SX's this season and possibly a National,if indeed KTM allows him to.
Also that interview was good.
But you can tell he was a bit reserved with his words...
I'm looking forward to following his results at the MXoN.
It should be interesting to see where he stacks up.

good interview just seems to me all you care about is him shit talking and not the fact that hes one of the best in the world

IMO, this whole thing is just a "Lost in translation" issue. What he meant to say and what he did say just came out wrong.
Let's see how we would all do if asked the same question in Italian.
I think we know where he stacks up he is World Champ with more GP wins than DeCoster... it would be more interesting if Dungey was to race a GP series.. to see where he really stood in the world stage

Can he put in 2 solid motos at that elevation?
How will he do on that 350 at that elevation.
Will he have anything for Short (who is always super fast at Lakewood)?
Will any of the lites guys like Canard or Wilson be able to run his pace if they get decent starts?

There's no rider who everyone likes. Even K-Dub was talking about doing the parade lap at one National this year, and there was a fan giving him the thumbs-down...even after Kevin stopped to say hi. And Kevin's probably one of the most universally liked riders out there.
Maybe there will be a few misguided fans out there who've had their share of Colorado Coolaid, and feel the need to vent. In general, at the MXoNs I've been to, fans are there to celebrate the racing and cheer for their own country's riders.
Normally it's a party atmosphere, not a gathering of bitter keyboard jockeys bent on "revenge".
This is not about me, its about an opinion that i think is warrented by events of the past and general human behaviour.
So you can't really say Cairoli would beat Dungey in the AMA nationals nor can you say Dungey would beat Cairoli.. or Desalle etc in a World series...based on a one-off team event especially in the USA. They are the best in their series and that's it. You can't compare, apart from saying they are both great riders who compete in two great series.
All you can do it sit back enjoy the MXDN for what it is.. a great one off national team race..
