No chance he's running production airforks
LoL thats was I was thinking
Remember he was expected to be the next big thing when moving to 450’s after his dominant 250 championship. He’s still that guy. Now he is finally finding his rhythm.
That heel injury he had a few years ago set him back. Got infected and they had to pull hardware, starting over. I have a family member who broke theirs around the same time so I followed the story of AP. Similar break and situation. Seeing what they both went through is no joke. Breaking your heal is a really bad injury.
Would love to see AP fighting for the top spot and wish him the best.
When AP started reeling in Jett, I was like “where the hell did that come from?” And then, OMG this is great!!!
We need more of this!!!

The 7 and 3 will be a great combo at KTM next year!!
I'm guessing Tomac will still train at home and not with Baker?
Just saying if it were me, I wouldn’t leave my Colorado home and family to go train somewhere else at the sunset of my career.
I was at a wedding watching on my phone with the sound off. I was literally waiting on the bride to walk down the aisle as AP passed Jett. Under my breath I said, "Oh shiiiiit." AP is a stud
Stolen from the Vital fat bar thread to answer the question:

WP doesn't have a factory air fork? When the team runs the air fork its just production?
There is an aer cone valve fork with 2 air chambers. AP has ran the production fork since his first outdoors at ktm. Not sure if he has switched back and forth but there are pit bits going back 3 years showing his bike with the stock fork. Musquin ran it too once they got to the 22.5 frame.
I am sure it doesn’t have stock valving. It probably has some coatings or internal parts that are different than stock, but it shows that fork can work well at a high level. REP has some modifications to lessen that crust feeling some people complain about in the stock aer fork. I think the bikes feel better with that weight loss on the front end but it does take a lot more monitoring as the pressure changes during the day and in my experience the lower lugs need to be reset every ride to keep that crust/binding feeling away. I have wondered if a stiffer triple clamp would prevent that issue.
I'm not saying, I'm jus sayin'...
