Mako 360 (MX on 24' KX250) - Need opinions

Try a few, it’s down to preference. I love running the Mako setup. First thing that goes on a new bike for me.

I like the red bar polymers with the blue shark bite, I've also tried with the yellow shark bite and it move a tiny bit too much for my liking. 

The Mako360 is awesome. Wouldn’t hesitate to run it again. Looks like the Kawasaki version raises the bars 3mm.

Luxon also makes a really good set of rubber-isolated bar mounts. Couple hundred less than the Mako, weighs less than stock, and doesn’t raise the bars at all. They don’t move as much as the Mako, but really helped with vibration on my Husky.

It's a must have, IMO. I can immediately tell when I am riding a bike without it. Red polymer Green sharkbite has been my go to setup for several years now.

I prefer the phds xtrig over the make 360

Either of those sounds good, I am a VetB 185# rider and went with an orange bar polymer and blue shark bite. I think the bars move a little too much for my tastes. I will probably try a green polymer with my blue shark bite next.

I loop around the lower triple clamps/fork.

You can move the bars sitting on the stand or sitting on the bike but its not noticeable what so ever when you are riding.

Think about it kind of like fork springs, too soft feels really flexy but you sort of blow through the absorbing travel and into the firm bottom out of the rubber, firmer shark bite feel firmer but soak up the force slower before you get to the end of the range of motion the Mako allows.

I think it makes a big difference with overall fatigue but for me most its most noticeable in those huge holes or drop offs you don't see, I'm sure it helps in slap down landings too but I those never bothered me much. 

Im racing Harescrambles and GPs which are half moto half fast beat up woods 185lbs B rider. 

I think I put Luxon bar mounts on my 24 KX450.  The KX does vibrate a tick.   I know I have Luxon rubber mounts on my Beta.  Same for my Honda.  I put Luxon 23.5 triple clamp on my 23 Honda 250 R and rubber Luxon bar mount.  Honda didn’t really need rubber bar mount but it don’t hurt either.  

Luxon plenty good and they make good stuff.  Also have unreadable support.  I call Luxon and Billy answers the phone and my question.  Can’t complain about Luxon. 

Green polymers and yellow sharkbite for me. Mako mounts go on every new bike for me before it even touches the track. 

I had flexx bars first and then tried Mako.

Flexx bars are boat anchor heavy and to me felt un natural only working in one plane of direction but better than nothing.

Tried mako with stock bars and immediately sold the Flexx bars to a buddy .

My favorite polymer combo is green shark bite and red bar polymer but the green is also a close second. 

I'm sold on the Mako but yeah it's spendy.

Never tried xtrig or Luxon mounts so can't comment on them.
