Haha, KB started off okay but as he continued huffing on that PCP pipe his list started going a bit haywire...

Yes he won the title. He was supposed to. It wasn’t even supposed to be close. As a matter of fact before the season started the moto media, anyone wearing a Monster logo, and hord of paid internet shills kept tripping over themselves that he was going to go undefeated. He was a “Generational Talent”…

In SX he was not.

Davies had two wins, matching Deegan going into Denver. He was leading in Denver until he teammate (Deegan) cleaned him out. Hint: That would have been 3 in a row. As a rookie, while Deegan is an experienced 250 SX rider in his 3rd season. Davies also had numerous fastest qualifying as well.

Deegan, Davies, Jo, JuJu, Hymas, and Smith all had wins.

Hint: Its an 8 race regional SX feeder series…

His competition all missed races due to injury; Entire PC Team, Jo, JuJu, Hymas, and Smith as well. Davies missed the East/West shootout.

Series winner, obviously yes

“Generational” - Hell no

Very well put. And just to remind Deegan's rim brigade on here - this thread is about supercross. Don't try and muddy the waters by bringing motocross into this. Haiden indoors is not the same as Haiden outdoors.

DonM gets much more than a Monster pin from the Princess. Much more. Why else do you think him, GooFan and 971 put in such long hours shilling for the Deegan's in the palatial basement set up for them under the Deegan residence?

If 8 podiums out of 9 races and 3 wins and the championship is underwhelming.... then I guess Poor Paul is right....He is better outdoors and has said so himself but that doesn't take away the fact that he was the best 250 SX rider on either coast and the champion...he went 3,2,1 in the showdown races the next closest to that was Hammaker with 1,4,4 finishes....unlike Poor Paul with his woulda, coulda, shoulda opinion the facts are he was the class of the field by quite a bit and far far from being underwhelming....but of course on vital feelings mean more than facts...

Wakes up? I have never said anything different...I mean seriously all you have to do is look at the results and see...the facts are he is very very good at SX and will only get better and is a complete beast outdoors and will still get better....but still underwhelming at best of course....

Don this is vital. Making sense and speaking facts angers people here. You know better. 😂

According to vital somehow a rider that didn’t finish the season and had worse results than Haiden apparently was a better supercross rider this season. Even though Haiden won the championship. Doesn’t make sense but again this is vital. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Eli is already gonna handle that. Deegs is gonna clean up whatever is left of Jett next year after Eli steals his soul this year. Or maybe Jett’s just gonna “save his energy” this year in preparation for Deegs next year and let Eli take the title. Wink wink.

LOL, the MX history books are full of 125/250 4-stroke winners who never did as well in the big boy class.

Continuing to compare yourself to a multiple 450 championship winner is simply moronic at this stage.

I seriously don’t give a fuck if he takes down Jett or vice versa…. not sure why you think that if you appreciate Deegan’s talent you can’t appreciate Jett’s or Sexton’s or Davies or Tomac’s….what’s wrong with looking forward to what possibly could be years of great racing between all of them….pretty sure we all win in that situation…

Your entire argument implodes when you compare Cole’s first 9 races to Jett’s first 9 sx races.  Jett’s stats aren’t much different than Deegan’s. Lawrence has 1 win, and 2 podiums.

Other generational riders had off seasons. RC had two bad seasons to start his 250 sx career, RV got beat by rookie Canard (in both wins and for the title) in his third season.

You’ve simply set a bar for a generational riders (that you created on your own), then said Deegan didn’t meet it, therefore, Deegan is not generational. Your argument begs the question since you haven’t clearly defined what makes a rider generational.

LOL, I might actually believe you if weren’t the one person in this thread swearing, talking down to, and literally insulting people who merely disagree with you.

Hint: This is a forum. The whole point is to have conversations. To discuss topics.

Jett like the rest of the generational talents lined up at 16 to race SX...

Dethroned MC, Prime Bubba, Prime Reed, Prime DV, Prime KW, Prime Sebastian Torelli, Pastrana, RonRon, Tim Ferry, Davi Millsaps, Trey Cannard, Ryan Dungey, Tomac, Langston and Ryan Villopoto seems like a pretty stout list to me. I’m certain I’ve left out a few more due to  it being several years ago. I actually think the field at this time is weak in comparison, no matter how much the media wants to hype it.

I agree about RC's badassery, but you should re-check your list a bit.

Why?

RC retired in '07. He didn't race Canard, Dungey, Vilopoto, or Tomac. Millsaps broke his femur in the off-season before his first 450sx season in '07 so he kind of doesn't count either.

This thread feels like a walty wonders/cooksey type thread.

Just rambling to hear yourself talk. Deegan is literally dominating. How is that underwhelming in the stacked field? I’m not even a HD fanboy but I try to give credit where it’s due.

Hint: This is a forum. The whole point is to have conversations. To discuss topics.

Ok….wasn’t this you talking down to and literally insulting people….most people refer to this as hypocrisy …

“LOL One step closer to earning your Monster logo pin.”

Or this…”Wow, drunk shill Dom wakes up…”

Your entire argument implodes when you compare Cole’s first 9 races to Jett’s first 9 sx races.  Jett’s stats aren’t much different than Deegan’s. Lawrence has 1 win, and 2 podiums.

On top of being 16 he rode SX for the first time in his life two months before his rookie debut. Also almost won against Ferrandis in his second or third race and then got injured, people like to forget about that for some reason. Comparing him to other riders who had years on SX facilities before their rookie debut is just silly.

Jett, Deegan and Davies are all exceptional talents but I'm personally rather looking forward to watching those three go at it in the 450 class in the next years instead of getting a hard on on whether my favorite rider has better stats than the other in his first 9 races.
