Hey Vital, first post long time lurker. Here from Canada living out my childhood dream, riding as many days as possible in the land of moto dreams. I dont have much time left and I see fox is closed tomorrow for LL qualifiers. Any tips on where I can ride? Im not sure if its bad to post local spots openly, but if everything is closed its also been a dream of mine since watching old Crusty videos to ride those hills (I think near riverside?) that now seems to be called carpet city, if anyone wants to help out a guy currently living the dream find that location or a track thats open tomorrow i would greatly appreciate it! Also, I have been riding alone for two months, I would love to meet up with some locals tomorrow if anyone wants to go for a ride. Thanks everyone!

Seen your van leaving Pala a couple weeks ago. Told my kids you must be on a Moto adventure of a life time.
Sorry I don’t have any recommendations of local spots to hit. Pretty dry recently for the hills or desert.
I love how this feels like a small community sometimes, thats so awesome! Hope the kids had a good day!
How long you here for ?
Glen Helen, Perris Mx (Night riding too), Barona Oaks Mx, Cahuilla Creek Mx. You'll have to look up if any are open tomorrow.

Im here for another 2.5 weeks. It goes by so quick..
I checked them all out, and it seems only Pala is open Fridays but tomorrow they are closing it.
Nothing is really open tomorrow I don’t think. Saturday everywhere will be open. GH vet track practice or race the main. Perris practice. Cahuilla practice.
Someone take this kid out to Beaumont! 😃
Barona oaks tomorrow (Saturday) with some friends. I'll be on the shiny new YZ250 #991.
The Crusty riding spot is called Reche Canyon. It's on the map if you Google it, but I don't think the riding area is in the center of that pin. (Also, I'm not sure if the riding area is still there after all these years. I've never been there myself.) Just SE of there is Beaumont, where I know there's some good (illegal) riding as well.
Cal City is open both Saturday and Sunday.
Most riding areas give a discount rate to U,S. Citizens, so if you can wait a couple weeks until Trump annexes Canada, you can ride for less. Just sayin’ !
Come out to some local District 37 desert racing in Johnson Valley! You'll get your money's worth. Racing both Saturday and Sunday this weekend at Cougar Buttes in Johnson Valley!
I’ll be at my desert property out in Johnson valley as well , right across from king of the hammers , come by and hop in the pool if y’all want . OP there are some fun single track trails right behind the property if you desire 🙌

I just did 4 weeks down south (Canadian as well, spent 1/2 my time travelling and riding Utah mostly and 1/2 riding SoCal) in March. Was awesome. But racing was out of the question because of health insurance.
Extended insurance that covered me riding, jumping, getting as sketchy as I want, was less than $100 canadian for the entire month. But if I wanted to enter a “speed contest” I’d be $500 just for the single day. I didn’t want to race without coverage in case I wadded up, just fyi for OP from my experience the last two years. I used to race in the USA frequently but insurance from Canada has exploded in price for racing.
CAA has medical insurance that you can add "Sports and Speed" coverage for $25 per day. I just add the coverage for the single days when I will be riding. I am not a lawyer, but reading through all of the terms and conditions, it seems like it would cover getting hurt while racing moto. Fortunately, I haven't needed to use it but the policy seems pretty legit. you get a 10% discount if you are a CAA member as well.
