Will any AMA outdoor race come close to MXGP crowd atmosphere

France today was another level, can only imagine the very best in the world either side of the pond would want to race with the greatest fan support possible.

Ernee has a great atmosphere, but they put all the fans in one spot, so it makes it seem like the place is more packed then it might be. 

Pala was up this year, so thats good, but Red Bud, Millville, Unadilla High Point, and Southwick all have a super strong vibe....but the fans are not all packed into one small space.

let's just all agree we had great racing on both sides of the pond this weekend, after a week of no racing that was needed 🙌

The french/itals/dutch have allways had a dog in the fight, which naturally will create more noise/atmosphere at their home rounds, so yep i would say overall the euro atmosphere is a notch above the us 

The fly away rounds, the crowd/atmosphere looks shite.

look at if from this point of view ,if the yanks had a dog in the fight for mxgp and the round was in the states, then no doubt the atmosphere would go up a notch

It depends on which GP it is, but that one, Red Bud comes the closest. GPs in Europe have a cool vibe.

I don’t get into the dick measuring contest if mxgp vs ama because I think they are both great, however 5/9 riders race ama that made up the podium in 24 mxon. I looked back many years and most of the time ama is well represented on the podium at mxon. I think mxon is a crappy indicator of ama vs mxgp, hoewver since smee brought it up figured id point out its not the flex he thinks it is.
