Didn't Watson say on the pulpmx show that Aldon got a 3 year- $1 million contract from Stewart? That would have been 08-10 right?

And if true, it will be just another BAD decision that James has made! Or maybe it was Aldons decision? Probably got tired of putting up with James' shit and that stupid TV show!

I could be wrong but I'm 90% sure it was DV12 that said that while on the pulp show. I think it's incredible that a trainer of a mxer makes more $$ than 99% of the mxers on the track.

Incredible though completely in line with the absurd reality that the top 1% in the sport make 90% of the money.

James probably had to cut Aldon loose. James' has got to get on a budget because his stock is falling fast! I hope he saved up for a rainy day. W00t

IMHO, James has lost complete focus on the task at hand and has too many stupid distractions(TV show)to be "the best" anymore.

Why would a guy need a trainer on a 3 year contract? After say 6 months wouldn't you pretty much have learned what you need to do? If he just needs someone to make sure he keeps working I will do it for 1/4 of Aldon's price.

Seems like Dungey is doing okay on his own. Why would he want another guy's hand in his pocket?

Yeah I think Dungey is going to stick to what is working for him. He said in SX when RV started gaining some momentum he started searching a little to change things up and it just didnt work so he went back to what he had been doing... and has been since. I think he's real content with the program he has going now.

It's hard to train someone who doesn't race.

Maybe now there is a market for that Nordic Track I have refused to part with for the last 10 years. All I have to do is stop using it as a clothes rack.

Isn't Aldon Lance Armstrong's trainer? or was? Guys like that would never come cheap, no matter what sport their athlete is in...he was an established name way before he entered the mx industry if i have my facts right...

Aldon probably quit James, James just embaresed him at his last race.

Everyone thinks that trainers do nothing but tell the riders what exercises to do. "Do some cardio and maybe lift a little."

What they don't see is that trainers provide them with the very best PEDs there are and teach them how to take them to maximize their benefits. But we don't wanna talk about that or admit it to ourselves.

Oh yeah, and I'm sure there is actually absolutely NO use of PEDs in our sport. How they could possibly do that with all that stringent testing and besides, everyone knows that roids aren't gonna help a mxer. ;p

Ya know I must say as someone who has spent alot of time in a gym and seen alot of people juiced up, none of those boney 150 pound guys are on "typical steroids", if they were they would be 170 180lbs in about 6 to 8 weeks. While I fully understand there are different types of the sauce, some that will pack on the pounds and some that will shread you up. I would like for you or somebody else on here that throws that crap out there to tell me exactly "what type" of steroids these moto guys would use that would give them endurance but not pack on the pounds?

Exactly.
I think could market himself to other racers.Tongue
Again...it's called "self motivation". Something sorely missing these days...
