The 2025 Pro Motocross season will roar into life at Fox Raceway in Southern California on May 24. Chase Sexton enters 450MX as the defending champion but will face renewed competition in the form of four returning riders. Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence, Jorge Prado and Eli Tomac will race for the first time since Q1 of 2025–making 2025's Pro Motocross season one of the most exciting in some time.

250MX's defending champion, Haiden Deegan, is the clear favorite to repeat across the 11 rounds of competition. Chance Hymas, Levi Kitchen and Tom Vialle will be in hot pursuit of that number one plate–there are countless names that could enter that conversation too.

Opinions are like a*^holes, they all stink. So here is my stinky opinion:

1/2 : Jet and Chase - either order would not surprise me. 

3/4 : Jorge and Eli - either order would not surprise me. 

As always, I just want everyone to stay healthy and see the season out with a full field.

I think you should swap Eli and Chase in your picks because, unless I'm mistaken, Chase has yet to beat either Jett or Eli in a head-to-head championship battle (?) and Jorge will most likely be aware of this bit of info.

This is true and it did make me re-think my rankings. I guess I am banking on Chase being in race form and second year on the KTM outdoors. TBH, if he cant get over his mental block against Jett or Eli, he will be blowing up mid-season and not a happy fella.
