Nope,

whatever, I'm not arguing, I hope the racing is as good as it can be and everyone has a great time at the last 2 nationals.

I love 125s. I really do. But if I want a high-pitched whine, all I need to do is come in here and read all the "Back in the day" posts. Wink

As far as those who are suggesting TM or Husky as viable alternatives in moto? I'd suggest that they're novelty items. How many of those are you going to find in the U.S. And then when they break, how long are you going to be sitting around, waiting on parts?
How the hell can you love 125s if you say they make a "high-pitched whine" what the hell is up wif you brah?
anyway get used to the high-pitched whine just like we have to get used to the low-pitched fart mx sound we're putting up with now. but dont worry when the fart sound is gone so will the whine Wink

As a spectator, when I go to a National I want to see the fastest AMA pros racing and that's it.

I would 10000% prefer it if it was 2 x 250's , 2 x 450's and done. Last year at GH the day dragged on so long it was so dark by the end of it I'd swear there where bats flying down the front straight.

I'll be in the beer tent when that novelty race is going on doing my best not to get po'ed that Honda is wasting 20 mins of my Saturday trying to sell thier minicycle bikes to Joe Public.

missing the point?

The CRF150R came out in 2007 and hasn't changed since... Isn't that the same year of the last RM, KX and CR 125? (actually I think the RM was 08)

So if you are callng the 125's vintage, are the 150's vintage too?

125's are out there and lots of kids are racing them, certainly more than kids racing 150F's

As far as Guy B and his "vintage" comments, how about that ten year old engine in the 2011 YZ250F? Is it really any different than my 2001 model out in the garage? Talk about an antique. Mine qualifies for the vintage decade class this year!!

We CAN'T race 250cc strokes in the 250 class because Honda doesn't make one but we CAN have the Honda 150 cup because Honda is the ONLY company that makes one.Makes sense to me, screw Honda and their puppets.

I think they should have an XR cup and just get it over with.
probably one of the best posts if honda wants a 150 cup then give them a 150F cup Evil

Why are you guys still talking about EPA regs that mx bikes are exempt from?

Ultimately, I think it was determined that the 2 stk made no $ense because it was a very small part of the already existing 4 stk infrastructure at these companies.

Already existing infrastructure untill people started talking about crazy rules allowing them to be competitive again, then the story was there was too much money invested into going 4 stk to justify going back or letting a bike into the class that people may want to buy instead of a 4 stk.

It's a business, they would never just roll over and let the greenies get in the way of profit, if they were making more on 2 stks than 4 stks, we would all still be on 2 stks.

If Honda was as concerned about the enviroment as people claim they would have done r&d on thier two strokes like Bombardier with E Tech. They are lighter create more Hp for the same cc size and are cleaner burning than 4strokes. Any one ever ask why the AMA has to handicap 4 Strokes? Cause the don't make as much HP than 2 strokes. Around here people are flocking to two strokes and the kids I've talked to say they are more fun to ride and the parents are saying they are cheaper to maintain. In the super mini class last week end there was only two crf150r's and they were in last place and second to last.

Burrito, The WMX is racing at Pala, and Dunlop is the presenting sponsor (for the WMX race).

Just for shits and giggles I will call a couple of those places on tuesday and see how long it will take to get a clutch lever a brake lever and a front fender for a 2010 cr125.
My guess is 6 weeks out or more.

A husky won the 2 stroke championship this year with a 300 that started as a woods bike that pro-circuit tuned into a mx bike..I would buy a mx version 300 if they made one out of the box.
Pro-circuit started off as a husky shop.It would be cool if they hooked em up here in the states.
if there was ever a good time to break back into the usa it would be now.
How many of you guys would buy a 300

Great bike, but 300cc two strokes dont have a class. Isn't the 450 class allowance for two strokes 250cc max? I could be wrong though

Lined up with MX Sports? .....DC what kind of kickback did they (Honda) give to MX Sports? JK.....In all seriousness though. For a bike that cannot be raced against any other Mfg's 85's at the amature level it seems like they got or bought a more little extra exposure than the rest of the minibike Mfg's. LOL

Guess since Honda can't get the bikes to be showcased at the am races except for 150 only classes they found a way to be ridden at the national rounds in front of the biggest of all mx classes.....or did I miss something here?...either way you be the judge, to me it seems a little strange unless they are having a CRF150 class during Amature day before or after the actual national

ps ....no "wtf" in this thread title so I don't get flamed for jumoing on DC back. I do find it a little odd though...... AC92 would spank even the best 150 rider even though the bkke isn't legal for the 85 class and is it legal for the super mini class?

AC may be fast, but he wont be winning anything if he doesnt finish the races... Hence the reason Cooper Webb won at LL's this year...
