Rode at Pala today (vitalmx member Friday was there)

The dirt is really sandy and gets supppper rough, worse then GH in my opinion, because the hills are just steep and go right into off cambers..

there is a loong rolling whoop section that goes into that camelback jump and you can go thru it different ways, double through them or pin it and scrub off the single, or hit the next to last whoop and jump over the single.

the ruts are hard to get into but once you do it reminds me of Red Bud, reallly deep and easy to bardrag, but coming in to fast will make you crash.

a few jumps are sketchy and the rocks are dangerous (got a flat rear mid-day)

the track will get realllly rough for the national i bet and the riders that are smart and tough will do the best.

my friend 719_Photos took some pictures of some of the faster people out there and will upload them sometime this weekend/week...

The track gets rough, that is for sure. The AM Nats are today and tomorrow, I will be there both days. Should be some good racing. I bet the track will have a lot less rocks for the Sept. 11th race but it will be just as rough if not rougher by the second motos.

Who's coming to the race?
