Had a part in my cart at AOMC that was removed. I emailed AOMC and this is what I got back.
"Unfortunately we have been experiencing a lot of issues from KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas over the last 5 months and the decision was made last week that we will no longer be a dealer for the KTM group and have removed all the items we got from them from our site. I do apologize for this inconvenience, but if there's anything else we could assist you with, please don't hesitate to reach back out. "
Wow, that's crazy. I know that I have ordered through AOMC's dealer program for OEM KTM stuff and things that were in stock, shipped out fast. Things that they had to order first, sometimes took a very longtime. 11 months or so was the longest I waited, and I ended up selling the customer aftermarket stuff instead and they had sold their bike before I got the OEM stuff in. I just kept it to have in stock.
it was annoying, they kept saying another month, another month. Perhaps it was the KTM group jerking AOMC around and not them stringing me along so I wouldn't cancel my order. I like how they are on the east coast and for people in the northeast, they can order from them and have it in a day or 2 if it's in stock.
I wonder what brand they will sell now, seems like a very big move to drop them. At one point they only had KTM group bikes and OEM parts. I saw they added other brands for OEM parts. I found them because they were known for having a lot of KTM stuff in stock and shipping fast at the time. So strange for a shop known mostly as a KTM shop would drop them. Pretty much all of their AOMC AMP branded parts are for KTM group bikes. so strange. I wonder if KTM dropped them, or they dropped KTM? That sucks they are not dealing with KTM group anymore.
They still sell Sherco, Beta, Yamaha, Suzuki, Sea-Doo, and Can-am
Thats good to know.
AOMC is probably the worst online retailer second behind Motosport. Both companies just cannot figure out shipping, or how to say "this item is out of stock". Rocky Mountain consistently gets my orders to my door in <3 days and their inventory is pretty accurate. There is absolutely zero reason for me to patronize either of those businesses when RM is around.

RM is great, even when I have had problems with an order they fix it fast. No long waits for stuff.
Ordered a front fender for a husky last fall from AOMC. Waited a few weeks and it never shipped. Called and was told it was back ordered. Cool, thanks for telling me. Canceled the order and had it In three days from RM. If I had to guess it’s not all on KTMs end.
I had a few issues with them and shipping also. The one thing I liked is they carried all the specialty parts from the KTM power parts catalog. And they were always cheaper then my local dealer. Oh well.
Absolute worst dealer I have ever dealt with. Still haven’t received $1200 in parts ordered Feb 17th (was told most of it was in hand and would ship shortly once the rest was in).. only reason for the order is I used Ktm contingency which if they were to return now it would be expired. I’m reaching out to gasgas/Ktm contingency team.
You’ll probably have a better chance playing the lottery than getting anywhere with ktm contingency. Good luck though!
Lol yeah dreaming.
KTM aren't even paying dealers for warranty work that have carried out.
Ok
That’s just not true. We are getting paid for every warranty we file. We are getting paid for all contigency money we turn it and we are getting paid all rebate money we turn in. We are still getting bikes and parts every week. You guys need to stop posting stuff that you have no idea about.
I remember stopping into their dealer on the way back from a riding trip a few years ago. It was not too long after the KTM GasGas’s were starting to arrive in dealers. Super nice guys and nice building.
Figured since I was there I’d get some parts for an older Husky, but a KTM era Husky. They had a couple things, but didn’t have a front fender on hand. Guy said he could order it. I said ok, and started giving him my info not really thinking too much about it. Then he said they would get it in a few days and it’d be ready for pickup.
I told him I’m 4+ hours away, I’m not driving back for a fender, cant you ship it? And he just said no we can’t do that. Never discussed shipping costs or anything, just said no. So, I paid for the things they had in stock and took off. I swear that one still confuses me to this day.
Not sure if the contingency would change it, but they have always offered to split shipments for me. And at this point , if they are never getting the rest of Your order, it is as complete as it will be. Try reaching out to AOMC and ask. Might be able to at least get the stuff they had in stock.
Hopefully You can get KTM to do something about the rest of the parts of the unused part of the contingency. If it was KTM that was the reason for the long delay, they should know that certain parts were not available and do something about the expiration date. Its worth a couple emails to try. You don't have much to lose at this point other than a little more time. Worst case they say no, best case you get all of the parts or refreshed exp date and the contingency back to repurchase something at another shop.
Jamin, the original owner of AMOC, the guy that build that business and wrote the program that ran their online store, the guy that bought P3 Carbon and built that up sold out several years ago. The new owners are to blame for what is happening there.
Yeah...at this point i would expect a close running inventory on the website that i'm buying from. AOMC did the same thing with me on a set of KTM Factory Wheels. They didn't have em......couldn't get them. had to dick around with a refund and all that time wasting crap. Don't advertise it as "in stock" if you don't have it in your stock or immediate access to it. Their version of "in stock" is bullshit and they know it. Rocky Mountain built their reputation as a good one....why deviate?
Its not KTM, Its AOMC thats the problem. I waited almost 2 months for a pair of SG12 boots. I ended up just getting a refund. I have had no problems spending my contingency and getting stuff including OEM from Motosport Roanoke.
Had a similar experience, ordered a part through AOMC on April 3rd, never heard if it was shipped, they didn't have it.......No big deal. Probably in transit? Waited 3 weeks, nothing, reached out via email ticket (they no longer take ANY CALLS). Nothing. Sent 3 more emails with no response. Had to get PayPal involved for a Case. Just got my money back Monday. Sad, I used to order quite a bit of stuff through them
RM pricing is less expensive than any other retailer on just about everything. I cross shop EVERYTHING I buy at all the “known” sellers and I can rarely find better pricing than RM. Excellent delivery and customer support as well. You can’t beat RM.
Yeah, more like KTM ditched AOMC. I am the only KTM/Husky/GasGas dealer in Virginia and we are not having any issue getting parts, warranties paid, etc.
AOMC filed for bankruptcy. I was told this by a WPS rep.
