Looks like there's about 6 or so threads bashing on Deegan for giving Cole Davies a very soft and subtle "love tap" after he had just reeled him in from a 4 second gap. Davies spins out of the corner, goes wide, and then opened up the door wide enough to fit both of my Cummins in there. Deegan goes inside and "brushes" Davies at most, and Davies goes over the small berm and unfortunately (and uncharacteristically) gets stuck in the loose dirt and loses 4 positions. Deegan gets lucky and clinches one week early because Cole got stuck for so long.
Vital then proceeds to pull out the pitchforks and use terms like "punt", "take out, "clean out", "dirty pass", "disgusting rider", etc. I honestly don't know what's happened here at Vital but I've seen worse "contact" during a senior citizen card game. That pass was nothing to talk about and was as far from "dirty" as you can be. Swap the riders and if Cole had passed Deegan like that you all would be calling a spade a spade with that pass being an absolute nothing burger, and there would be 6 threads cheering and talking about how slow and overhyped Deegan is in Supercross.
You don't have to like his character, but I'm glad he's bringing some entertainment on track. Would you much rather watch another follow-the-leader boat race with zero excitement or passing? Do you want action and passing or badminton and bubble wrap?
I can't imagine would happen here if next weekend Deegan actually takes one of the 3 points leaders out while leading and determines the East Coast Champion. I'm talking a real block pass, not a soft Davies love tap. I can hear Diffy yelling already, "Deegan has taken out the points leader Tom Vialle while leading and has handed the East Coast Championship to RJ Hampshire!" To be honest, I don't think Deegan cares about the East Coast Championship and he will do whatever it takes to win if it's there for the taking.
Would the Vital servers be able to handle it?

I would say it's more ironic how many cry babies are melting down over a simple block pass just because it was Deegan.

I don't expect it will be an issue. If the worst he did when something was actually on the line was that little "love tap", my money is on him not doing anything aggressive that could affect a championship that he's not involved in.

He's not going to interfere on purpose I'm sure. If he gets a little aggressive for the win I'm all for it. He has the art of block passing pretty well nailed down.
I guess it should be no pronouns at all with it just being East/West (or region) but I've been hearing people use "coast" for years including current top riders and teams, so I guess I'll continue to say it wrong like all of them.
