He's not ready for a 450 IMO. He needs to stay down another year and do 250 E next year. He will mature more.
Get a title, get increased bonus structure to defend said title…which I believe he only gets 1 year to do…then has to move up (in SX).
So, 2025 250 MX & SMX
2026 250 SX W (1)
2026 250 -or- 450 MX and that would potentially lead to 450 SMX…which means I’d bet he stays 250 thru-out for earnings potential.
2027 450 SX-MX-SMX

It gives him a a little longer break after the outdoors too before 2026 SX starts. He might be able to get some 450 seat time (testing) in too. Also being based here on East Coast, it should be more convenient for him. Not sure what they'll do. But to me East would be more practical.

Can't tell me Reed wasn't offered a bonus if he took Dungey out that race (Monster athlete). That was the quickest Chad rode all year and if not for Anderson, I'd be willing to bet Reed would have screwed with Dungey.
