250 2 strokes can enter the 250 4 stroke class for the upcoming SuperX series in Australia, a few 2 strokes have already entered, should be interesting?

Didn't Ashcan ride a 250cc 2 stroke in the "Lites class" at the Aussie Nats this year and get smoked?

Ashcan did ride a two banger, and had some real good rides. Didnt ride the first few rounds as his entry wasnt one of the first forty received, so that left him on the sidelines. They should have had qualifying the same as the AMA. I would not say he got "smoked" !!

Darryll King also raced a 250 2t in the series, he did ok and was running top 5 in some rounds, he was a bit more consistant than ash can,

at the NZ round of the super x series one of the kiwi;s rode a 250 2t in the lites class, but it was not part of the series

Dont forget Cam Taylors Holeshot on the sand's of Coolum at the last round this year, ran up inside the top ten a couple of times on the sunday.

Ashcan also ran around the top 5 in one of the Motos at Moree from Memory, would have to check results. Sutherland in the u19s had a few good results on the 2 stroke as well.

250F though is the bikes the factory teams run and will still be the best bikes to be on at the races in a 250 class. well for now anyway.

How cool would it be though to see Reed rock up at a round of SuperX bring out a 250 two stroke and race the lites class.

Reed back on a two banger would be unreal. But aint gonna happen. Nick Sutherland is a good supercrosser and I would expect to see him riding one, but definitely going to be a great series.

How pissed was Cam after that holeshot when he got the 20 sec stop/go penalty. He was pinned for the rest of that moto !!

The fast guys will still be on 4 skins because they are sponsored to do so.

For all the non-believers that think that allowing equal displacement wont help the sport, this series is a perfect example. Several TOP privateers are coming back to race this series on two strokes after giving up on racing because of the costs involved to run a four stroke !! These guys are going to do very well, they didnt give up racing because they couldnt run up front.

And like everybody else says, " Just sayin "

Reed would destroy that class on a 125 let alone a 250
