There's plenty to criticise RC about but anyone who's done a lap with a few bikes in front of them knows that clean air relates to SX/MX.
Sit up in a dome and you won't find any more "clean air" that's on that track. And NO it doesn't relate. Again, it's a NASCAR term that doesn't relate to MX or SMX. Clear track I get. Otherwise, the "air" doesn't affect any rider's ability other than we are all suffocating under a dome.
That's funny, I've finished plenty of races coughing up dirt with sand in my eyes because because I wasn't in clean air. It's not the best analogy but you don't have to be a genius to join the dots either. FYI, F1 & MotoGP and most tarmac racing also talk about dirty air, it's not just a NASCAR term
MX/SX has actual dirt in the air flying at you.....
