Is this really a surprise? Maybe him and bubba should start a team...maybe called team "get everyone excited and never race".

Agreed.....Maybe the drive to race is being sucked out of them by that front air intake on the YZ450 .....seems to be a trend with those two.

When I was here for the open practice last week, he had his race bike with him. I was told that he was supposed to have it back to his mechanic by Wednesday so it could be rebuilt in time for the Southwick National...no dice.

Does the bike need to be rebuilt? Wash it up, put on a fresh rear and race.

Bubba or RC could have top fived on their beater practice bikes.

Never compare this guy to Hannah.

Good. He won't be taking a spot that someone that wants to be there could have.

Really........it's not like he got much time on the bike at Unadilla!

If this is true, I feel so bad for the team........well..... what's left of the team. The kid has so much wasted talent.

Big balled critics around here. Take your big mouths, shut them up and replace them with some bigger balls to help him be a better person/rider. People these days haha sheesh. The kid is a good person for sure, if he doesn't want to ride who cares? And for any one of you asswipes that says they would work there ass of if they had a tenth of his talent. Why don't you try to actually think about what a rider goes through. The stress is through the roof. Not to mention the grind of travel and people who think they are Nostradamus on the internet. haha Get a life and go ride....

Yeah, I'm sure they passed on a few job offers to stick with J-Law on his come-back.

Let's just hope he gets his ass to the race with the race bike, and he races no matter what. Because if he doesn't, I have a feeling that this will be the "final straw".

Parade laps must wear a bike out? He sure has not been on the track enough to need a rebuild!

I dont think a top five for RC ot Bubba on a practice bike is out of the question.
Practice bikes are still good.

Hey I heard he was makin it rain with all that Arma "show up" money from last week. And it is tough to get up and get your bike to the mechanic after getting wiped out at the club.

Really though guyb I know mxb2 was being sarcastic and while that may not be true, it might as well be, that kid does not want to race, bottom line. I'm not sure if you are trying to defend him but an "I couldn't get my bike to my mechanic" excuse sounds like BULLSHIT, and if you believe that crap your knee deep right now.

I used to be a JLaw fan and hoped he would make a comeback, but at this point it's just ridiculous.

In other words, if you show me a "pro" with a "major" sponsor that can't get his bike to his mechanic, get it rebuilt, and back to him in a week in a half, I'll show you a guy who doesn't want to race and is taking his sponsors money.

Normally teams race every Saturday and somehow manage to get their bikes, motors, suspension, whatever back to the shop, rebuilt, and to the next race. Remember there was 2 weeks between Unadilla and the Wick and JLaw had a head start. He didn't even race Dilla. Still couldn't get it done in two weeks????
