What happened to ERA Moto Graphics?

Anyone know if ERA is coming back or gone for good? Searched for info but nothing came up.

I emailed them awhile back and they said no more new orders and no ETA on return. I loved their stuff and was hoping to order for my new two stroke build.

Interesting, I hadn’t heard anything about that. Dustin Nowak (Whacker) was part of that deal, I’ll look into it for you

Sounds kinda like a restructuring of sorts. They're doing work for return clients but nothing new at the moment.

Here’s What I’ve Gathered After Some Digging

To be frank they’ve not given a direct answer on why they up and shut down the website.

However after some digging i found that their now former production designer left and went to SKDA; not long after is when the website shut down. Wacker aka Dustin Nowack is now on his own taking care of orders until they hire someone else & thus to keep from overloading him with work i assume that’s why they’ve shut the website down. I’m on their rider support team for ‘24 & I’ve been able to get reprints and make new kits but they’re only doing it for their clients on rider support as of now.

Wacker has posted some funny & mildly cryptic instagram stories here and there and same with the wording that pops up on ERA’s homepage that changes from time to time but I do believe they will return back to making graphics for everyone like they used to. Just for now I believe they’re restructuring, finding a new designer & once that’s done I imagine we will see new premade templates/designs with a new outlook from a different designer.

Any updates on what’s going on over there? A little transparency goes a long way…

I do not know his issue but Another thing to consider is in a small business health can change some things over night.

You guys have seen this happen with me 3 times in the past with a TBI, heart attack and knee replacement. Right now I am battling with a severe pain back issue that has slowed me down a day or 2 on shipping out orders. My back is why I was not at the playoff in Charlotte 45 minutes from my house last weekend.

Hey guys, co-owner here. I really appreciate the fact there are people out there who care enough to ask. So, thanks!

It's growing pains. Order volume reached a point where we didn't feel we could provide a service at a level we felt was acceptable. We didn't want to become one of those places that takes people's money and leaves them hanging for too long.

We figured the responsible thing to do was to put a hold on the consumer side of things, focus on taking care of our B2B clients (we are also a print facility) and team riders, and work on increasing our capacity before opening up the consumer side again.

Progress in that area has been great and it's safe to say the internal bottlenecks we were facing have been blown out of the water. I'm really excited to get things back online asap.

The plan right now is to get things back up with a limited number of products. I don't have an ETA yet, but we're working on it 👍

Glad to hear, you guys have always had such a good style that steers away from the very stale feeling pre made kits found elsewhere!

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but people keep asking me for details, then landing on this page and getting confused... So it seems like the right place to post an update:

We're back up and running!

A restructure is exactly what happened. Same ownership (Wacker's handling stuff like special projects, production, and rider support, like always <3), but with a better underlying business, a new website, new in-house software products, and a big update to our graphics customizer.

We won't be running into the same production capacity issues anytime soon, and it'd be very tough for anyone to beat our turnaround times.

As for designers leaving: This was a consequence of us hitting the pause button, not the reason for it. Our focus during the downtime was on improving workflows, not hiring.

We still work with the same designers, just in a different capacity. And for the record, they in no way, shape, or form contributed to the bottlenecks I mentioned earlier. Their names are Macauley and Braxton, and they do great work. You can see Macauley's stuff here: https://mxdesign.22slides.site/ and Braxton's here: https://www.instagram.com/callmeabsent/
