Tim Gajser  243

Definitely not how I hoped the day would end, especially after the second-place in the first moto. I felt like I was doing okay, finding some different lines so I could make my move and try to win the race. I wasn’t too far off the line, but my rear wheel hit a solid mound and just bucked me off the bike. I was sitting off the track for a long time before medics were able to get to me, but eventually we were able to get checked out. After those results, I will get further tests done tomorrow and see where I’m at. I will keep fighting though and use this weekend off to recover as best as possible for Portugal.

a broken collarbone he would know without a midec i bet but he isn't saying anything like this....so 🤞 nothing broken

get well soon for Portugal 🐯

He's posted that the x-rays showed no break. But,  man, a shoulder dislocated for that long can't be good. Fortunately for him (maybe) there's only 2 GPs in the next 5 weeks.

Huge congratulations to Lucas Coenen. Most impressive ride I've seen for a while. I had to laugh at his comment/complaint about all the people saying that...

Huge congratulations to Lucas Coenen. Most impressive ride I've seen for a while. I had to laugh at his comment/complaint about all the people saying that him and his brother are always crashing. Like, dude... You and your brother are always crashing, it's just a fact 😅 just stay off social media, stay off the ground, and keep kicking ass.

Well, people tend to talk - a lot. He shut them up yesterday.

No British riders in MX2?

No, the Dixon team is just doing EMX with Bobby Bruce (who can’t seem to finish a moto).

Bruce has been really ill recently (and this is why he pulled out yesterday)

Bruce rarely finishes a race, you have to admit that. Last year he pulled out of 14 races of the 27 he competed in, that's over 50%.

Reese95w, I'm not sure how correct this is, but, I 'hazily' remember some controversy a few years back with regards to the Acerbis Fork Guard tracks markers as being something like 'general' indicators, Not the actual track perimeters. And that, was with reference to some US Nationals debates. I think DC was part of the discussions. I think, within reason, it's the same for the GPs.

There'll be, of course, be those that will call this a heinous bit  of cheating from Seewer, but, it's nothing. Though, I guess he was lucky there was no 'mound' there in the couple of inches he was to the right.........

Happy to see Jeremy Seewer get the 3rd OA. I hope it marks him getting back to form. Lewis must be having Kittens at the result ....... 😁.I can't wait to see / hear his Swiss GP report.

PS - I can't seem to get rid of the Bold typeface at the moment . My 'puter is going a bit skitzo at the moment - all the alloy / steel linishing dust has got to it, I guess - it happens every few years in my workshop.

Lucas Coenen the youngest ever to win a MXGP. 18y 5mo

This kid is the new Antonio Cairoli

Not sure exactly how old Paul Malin was but he was only 18 when he won the French 500 GP 1991.
