Wow Cairoli, around 25th on lap 1 and then smoking Desalle on the last lap to get 2nd! 15th lap he set the fastest lap of the race, a second faster than anyone and with the track beat up!

Looks like the lappers messed up CD's last lap...
I guess they also slowed down Tony a bit though on the second to last lap...

Cairoli is the closest thing (to watch) from RC, since RC himself.

Size, determination, style, will to win, super hard-charging final laps...

Toni is also building a pretty serious place for himself in the record books !

He slipped off, lost 4 seconds to AC because of it, but AC had made up 5 seconds in 3 laps prior to it and was on CD... not bad after the start AC had!

If they get away with Philipearts in race two it will be some race. Unbelievable speed by Cairoli in the second half of the race to do a 2.07 .. the fastest rider on the planet.

Track sucks, camera's suck, green netting sucks and some of those riders have no business on a track let alone a GP. And 24 riders?

Maybe Phillapperts' team can set up Bubba's suspension for outdoors.

Looks like he was cutting pretty smooth laps on a very rough track, on a similar bike.

Hopefully he can get a good start in Moto2 and stay out of trouble.
If so, he should have better results. Smile

One top 10 overall all year, only 11 GP regulars racing at Brazil including him, one is riding injured, he should get top 10 this weekend! Looking positively i guess he could make a career in Brazil.. or maybe commentary... or maybe just go back and ride the AMA and get top 10 overall for the season?

The boring part where you try and discredit the World Championship.

The Brazilian GP may not be perfect, for many reasons, but I think you fail to see the bigger picture. ie; budgetary issues caused by the late arrangement of the USGP, lack of funding from manufacturers due to poor bike sales, trying to raise the sports profile in very large and still relatively untapped market etc etc.

Its easy to take cheap shots as an armchair critic, but it's more constructive as a 'fan' of the sport to support and embrace it. This whole US vs GP argument is so childish its embarrassing, I dont understand why people insist on criticising all the time instead of just enjoying the racing commending the riders as they used to?

You should recall that Townley also beat Dungey regularly in 2007.

what part of what I said about 24 riders and a girl scoring a point is not true?

On another note, how did the red bull nationals go this weekend? How did the new Husky rider in the MX2 class do?
