Justin's mom mentioned last night on DMXS that James invited Justin to come down ride at his place. Pretty cool move by James considering Justin has been looking for some places to train since leaving MTF.

I think Barcia would have been much better off taking a 15 minute ride down the road from his house and training at RC's.

I really doubt its as simple as just showing up at the Carmichael ranch and saying "Hey, I'm here to train!"

hilarious - Yeah, is it like Bracia can just show up at anyone's house and say, "Hey, I'm riding your track today....also, what's for lunch?"

Wasn't Mike Alessi supposed to be heading to Stewarts after Southwick practice day?

Stewrat better cover the inside line when running laps with Barcia.

Maybe if it were some random kids track yeah, but like i said i doubt its as simple as just showing up there which is probably why he isn't already there.

Barcia rides as close to the style as James of anyone IMO so I think this could benefit him!

Would work at my track. I would just pull up a lawn chair and a 6-pack and enjoy the view. Heck I would even throw in a hand to help with the practice bike, that would be awesome.

Hahah....I never said he didnt know how to shift I just said he might be waiting too long to shift or when he rev's the bike from get go he might be going past the optimal time (peak hp) to grab another gear

The kid rides the shit out of that bike I mean he rides it hard but sometimes just goes backward all the while the bike is being ridden noticeably harder.....can you answer me (crashing aside) why that is? He is definitely fast and rides the bike fast and harder than just about anyone but he doesnt seem to pull even his teammates sometimes....he just doesnt seem to get the drive that others do. He should be amazing to watch on a 450 though

Careful though number 7 doesn't like his riding partner's banging with him. Ask RD. Nah J/K. Maybe Bubba can smooth JB out. People act like James is wild as fuck (which he can be) but wasn't it Bayle that couldn't believe how smooth James was when he first saw him. Maybe Everts said it? They were expecting RC style wild and saw just the opposite

Because fast is smooth and smooth is fast. Barcia is exciting, but he's guy that will be more competitive and faster on a 450 than a 250 IMO. It will cause him to learn there's more to going fast than twisting the throttle. And I'm a Barcia fan.

Slightly OT, but imagine what would happen if guys like Reed, Stewie, RC, and MC practiced together. I wonder if that would make for closer racing?

yeah pretty dumb comment from me i guess, and no i haven't raced for 10 years. Never was a pro or anything of the sort. Chalk it up to thinking out loud.

On the other hand, I was talking about more than just riding on the same track. Force them to hang out, share secrets, ect. People tend to find similarities when you herd them up.

It's hard to say, if you go to amateur nationals all the top kids like Justin Hill, Jessy Nelson, Landon Currier, etc all hang out and are pretty identical in speed, so you never know.

Want to see smooth AND agro hang it out wild, James 2006 trying to pace RC. Incredible season. James smooth like butter, the Yamaha doesn't suit him or maybe he need that carrot dangled in front of him. Hopefully RD stepping up will bring out the old focused James. He really needs to fire his PR guy. Someone as badass as him and all the hate he gets. Only person on the earth who can say he raced a prime RC and beat him (sometimes, not much lol)
