Related story—Back when I was 15 I worked at the Honda shop for a few years. One of my tasks one year was to go deliver 4 new Honda recon quads to Val’s ranch up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Didn’t get to meet him but met his ranch hands and got to spend some time checking it out. They all had good things to say about him at the time. Good times.
This is why you don’t put off the things that you want to do until retirement age. You might not make it that far.
My dad didn’t make it to 60. My father in law didn’t make it to 60. My mother in law didnt make it to 65. Don’t wait for the dangling carrot that is retirement to do some living! Go do it now!
