Chase’s reaction to the Kawi rumors makes me think it might be real.
On the pulp review pod today, they said that Chase is in talks with Kawasaki and they made it sound like it’s kinda dependent on if Chase win this title or not if he’ll stay with KTM.
That would uproot Anderson and they also said that Anderson is in talks with a couple teams now as well. If I’m putting the puzzle pieces together, if Chase doesn’t win this SX title, it sounds like he’s going to go with Kawasaki and then who knows where Anderson will move. Back to Austrian brand? Part time at Ducati until they’re ready to go full time?
Chase is not going to tell Lewis if he has signed or not sorry idk what Lewis thinks hes going to get from chase. Chase wont be like yea i signed but i cant tell you what team.
Seems like the only way forward has 2 paths;
1) Win championship and stay at KTM (so they aren't done dirty)
2) Lose championship and go to Kawi (which I think will happen. Coop has the brain game on lock)

Exactly. I hope he goes to kawi(because I’m a kawi homer) but I don’t see how or why the result in sx would determine the decision. It’s not the bike holding him back.
He probably wants to try something different. Because maybe he can't get his KTM 100% dialed but maybe he thinks he can on a Jap bike. But I don't see him moving from KTM after winning a title. Seems like a big slap in the face to the OEM/team.
For sure but what I’m guessing is that there are probably some healthy incentives (read: $) for Chase at KTM if he wins this title and decides to sign off on his third year option.
Also, remember what Roczen did? He chose to leave HRC to ride for a privateer Suzuki team because he didn’t like the bike. Tomac left Kawasaki because he didn’t like the way the team was ran. Coop got out of KTM early because he wasn’t happy with the team. There is a chance he really just doesn’t gel with the bike the way he had hoped even if the mistakes he’s making aren’t on the bike itself. I’m not saying the bike is holding him back but rather whatever bike he’s comfortable on would be the best bike for him.
I don’t want to see Chase win the title if that means he’ll be on a Kawi next year, that would be a nice move imo. Maybe Triumph will make a push for Anderson if he’s available instead of putting Jordan Smith on the 450?
Didn’t Chase do exactly that with Honda when he went over to KTM with the number 1 plate for sx? Honda offered Chase a deal too.
He did but he was crashing a lot and didn't want to be part of the Lawrence show. I totally get it.
Remember RC went from Kawi to Honda to Suzuki while in the 250 (now 450) class.

Payton made it seem like they're selling a lot of bikes based on the amount of Suzuki pipes he's selling. He was hesitant to sponsor the team because he wasn't sure how many pipes he could sell, but loved Kenny so he did went for it. Sounds like it's paying off big time for him too.

He never reported he was going to Ducati. They were discussing the silly season and said he thinks (guessing) Ken will go to Ducati.
If anyone was paying attention when Ducati swept the podium at the recent Texas race, Roczen was on the podium celebrating with Ducati's podium finishers and their race director. Just so you know.....
And he took a picture with one of the main guys at ducati, Paolo Ciabatti i think.
Have to disagree on this one, Chase isn’t about the money, the kid wants to win…badly enough that he threw away an overall this season just in an effort to beat Webb. The kids got heart for miles. He just wants a program that he feels comfortable with, and to be the #1 guy on the team, ref: departing Honda

The racerx article where Ian basically says we are going to do our best to keep Chase was a bit surprising and basically confirmed Kawasaki is making a push. Ian didn’t seem overly optimistic. I hope chase goes to Kawasaki but that would be a massive shocker to anyway say 5 months ago to hear.
Roczens agent is apparently asking for a 2 year new deal at HEP according to Matthes. The bumchumming with the Ducati guys at the moto GP is odd - I’d also think he’s destined for Ducati unless Roczen is looking for options at both and choosing what’s best.
u gotta point but with tht being said if he wants to win why go to another brand when u have won on a KTM 🤔 imo kawi is not a better bike than KTM , I said before on the outside looking in , he looks good on the KTM so why switch , the fact tht he’s entertaining leaving , lets me kno he looking for some money , hell we just seen it with the NFL free agency this yr , Myles Garrett talking bout he declined Cleveland’s 1st extension offer cause he wana go to a playoff contending team & wht happened 🤔 Cleveland threw more money at him to stay & now Myles Garrett still in Cleveland after all the lead up talk of him going to Philly to play with the eagles , him getting traded to Washington to play for the commanders

Plot twist: Sexton knows both bikes are good. He's just playing the system. Maybe he knows he will stay at KTM but "entertaining" Kawi to get more money from KTM for his next contract 😂
I don't get why Roczen would want to deal with Ducati at this stage in his career. He doesn't need the money, new bike, new program that is going to want results. Or just do your own thing at HEP, have Chiz do all of your testing and them be stoked with your podiums and occasional win. Unless the play is to go back to Europe with Ducati as a swan song.
With Chiz retiring, sort of, does HEP replace him? Do they keep Nichols? If Vialle wins the 250E title could he go to HEP to replace Chiz? Oooooorrrrrr...would Kawi want to sign him if Anderson goes to Clubmx per what i just heard on Blair Mathess project?
