Even though whoops are out of the question, I'm headed towards something along these lines. My medical bills are finally getting within my grasp and some cash might be free'd up enough to twist it up on a smoother surface than I'm used to.

A Duke might be in the picture too.

I've got a long time bud that we're going to go dual sporting all over the country; at least as much as possible in the next three yrs. I'm looking forward to it.

That view is for sure is cool.....My buddy is thinking of a bike similar to do the dual sport stuff on.

Me, undecided until the next couple yrs. to see what's out there that appeals to me..

Nice view and the bikes are cool as well.

Are you actually going to ride them all over the country or are you going to go the bike week route and trailer them then ride them when you get to where you want?

I'm riding more and more Dual Sport only, just getting too old to hammer those trails now. Looking at a new KLR650 now it's about the cheapest and will run 75 on the hi-way all day too. Keep my KTM450 for Desert and high speed dirt roads.

My friend rides his HP2 at MX track. Rear suspension broke last weekend. Ouch!
I don't think MX is not recomended for this bike!

Just ride the bikes with each carrying camping stuff, clothes, necessities and ride as much fireroads as we can goin' all over the country. Seems daunting, but we've got time to plan out how were gonna do it and we aren't gonna MX 'em.
He asked me 5 yrs ago did I want to do this and I said "when"....plan is just use the dual sports as I described and map out the places we want to ride and see.
We probably won't start still for 2 yrs when he retires; then hope things fall into place and we'll be ready to hit the road.
I'm sure it's gonna be more daunting than we realize.
