Has anyone noticed that beyond Carson Wood and Ryder Ellis there don’t seem to be any team green riders coming up through the mini ranks ?
What does this mean ?
Sorry if I forgot anyone
I’m guessing but I assume that parents would rather put their kids on Austrian mini bikes and there’s not a development track for them to end up at pc like there used to be.
The 25 Austrian 85 is better than the already dominate unit. Every new development moves it farther away from the Kawasaki and Yamaha.
The small bore Austrian bikes are so much more developed and competitive right away, but they don’t seem to retain talent once they reach the big leagues.. they go to Star Yamaha 😂 jk
I believe ....this 'new 2 stroke' from Kawasaki isn't just one bike but a revamp of an entire collection and the 50/65/85 will be part of this plan...perhaps going as far to say that one gear turned the other in either thinking building the big bike/offroad unit opened the door for the smaller unit or vice versa
Moto is healthy- and their bike is years behind in many many areas and they are missing
1.They have no 50..Call me crazy but a million kids want they Kawasaki green one-and they can't.
2.The 65 is years behind the Yz before we even touch on how advanced the Austrian bike is
3.The offroad contingent all ride Austrian and MANY of those are 2 strokes aswell as, you will not see a blue 4 stroke offroad either eg Cody Webb.
BUT There is hope-The 112.
I believe this bike has set off alarm bells at Kawasaki and it's this bike that has perked up the ears/interest of what the public want.
I may be 100% wrong...but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
If I am wrong...Team Green is headed for the back of the paddock as they are already behind the 8 ball.

Funny thing topic popped up. My son has been on cobras and Ktm his whole life and I finally talked him into a kx85. The last fews weeks I’ve been telling him about all the greats that once rode the kx85. My boy is a decent rider but definitely isn’t fast and so what bike he rides really doesn’t matter.
Obviously the kx65 is super dated and not competitive at all but I have a hard time believing the 85 is that bad. I think kids and parents especially on the local scene are brainwashed. I
Means no KX-50, an antiquated KX-65 and KX85, plus no KX-125. If you don't have a pipeline for kids to start and then progress up on, it becomes difficult to get them to change color later in life. Until Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, and to some extent Yamaha start making competitive minibikes they will suffer in the amateurs.
Drew Adams may be one of the last until new minibikes are made.
Carson Wood and Dudney were both team green riders but Star signed them both. Team green signed Vincent Wey and Aiden Zing after losing Wood and Dudney.
On the Carson Wood YouTube his dad said they did not want to leave kawi but when star offers a path to pros and kawi cant/wont it made the decision easier. I am a kawi homer but I totally get where the family is coming from.
