I'm not on either side, both sides have been committing atrocities for centuries.
Supporting free speech when you agree with what is being said, but seeking imprisonment or deportation when you don't agree with somebody else's speech, is hypocritical.
So, what happened to the 31 year old “student” that hates Jews?
Exactly. TXDirt understands and his comments are 100% correct.
I worry about the person that continues to downvote his comments. Wonder what flag that dude flies??
Remember Grant park Mexican protest against America in 2004 ? Burning American flags etc. my Mexican pals in GB said they made 1,600 a week tax free in Ca. Picking lettuce. In Chicago manufacturing they made nothing they make way more in GB. I went on political Chicago on fb . And told the Truth sbout the city over 5 million truckers view it as a slave town . Slaves are flown in from all ovr the world into Chicago, millions of them since 08. I did see a protest on there on deportation . I said haha I read your protest signs do you actually know anything about America ? If you did you would realize how comical your protest signs are. 1 of these 1099 co.s every time I parked at the warehouse in Romeoville , Bolingbrook area . I had the same dream but only there . A group of Naitive Americans surrounded me doing a low Indian chant . Why ? Because it’s on a sacred Indian burial ground. There all over Chicago land along with sacred spiritual grounds. It’s worse than bull dozing a cemetery & building on it. Because that’s a place for eternal rest not doing spiritual ceremonies. W side a green bay on the Oneida reservation. There,s coyotes that do a sad crying howl at there Indian burial sites at night. Probably Indian spirits flowing threw the coyotes . They still do 30k old ceremonial stuff.

Wasn't it the left who set the precedent that words are literal violence?
and it doesnt help when the media is misrepresenting what the president said regarding "violence" by saying he's going after protesters.
yes, and there are more recent quotes that are much worse.
His ignorance is not fake.
My point is that the constitution is genius and should be abided by. The founding fathers knew what they were doing.
The problem I see with policing this stuff on morality is that it's subjective. There is protesting/1st amendment freedoms and then there is conspiring against the US or against a person. The latter should be punished but not free speech.
Is blocking roadways, keeping other students from attending classes, callin for death to Jews and the U.S, etc. considered free speech?
For some it is as long as it means you can continue to get your feelings hurt by Trump.
For those of us with common sense it's just a good reason to get the fucktards out of America.
The core of the issue is this. I hardly care about, nor do I feel threatened by Hamas, Palestine, Russia, China etc...
As an American I feel the biggest threat to my future, my health, and my economic wellbeing is the American government (this may be where we fundamentally disagree). The government of America proves itself to be the biggest threat to me though it’s actions both past and present (we can discuss details in another post if you’d like).
So that being said, I will not ask and most definitely do not want the government to start amending laws to restrict freedom of speech which may be interpreted subjectively and in the future used in a manner detrimental to me. It is a slippery slope!
This is in regards to American citizens. Non citizens are not entitled to the laws which you and I benefit from and therefore I agree they should absolutely be deported without question or trial.
When it comes to citizens, this is when we the people need to be more assertive and also be accountable for the society and culture we cultivate. Let common sense and individual discretion prevail. Let these matters be resolved privately and without government intervention. We want smaller government and less interference from them. Do not ask them to step in and act as “Big Brother” to you now, because the pendulum will swing and those laws in the place will hurt you tomorrow. And that is the slippery slope. We the people need to deal with our social issues through common sense and public discourse.
Blocking roadways should have legal consequences, 100%. One of my favorite police videos is of those protesters with a trailer blocking the road in Nevada and the officer just comes in and plows it (see below)
The other stuff, like if someone is physically blocking another student from attending class, or shouting bigoted/hateful things should be handled by the school (warning/expel/ban/etc) and police called in if things escalate.
Non-citizens cheering for terrorists? Deport them. No trial, no debate. They don’t belong here.
Citizens openly supporting enemies of this country? That’s not “just free speech”—it’s enemy propaganda. And the U.S. has every right to treat them accordingly. Inciting violence, aiding terrorists, and calling for the destruction of the country you live in isn’t “discourse,” it’s treason.
We can be against government overreach and against letting traitors hide behind the First Amendment. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. So yeah, smaller government—but not a government so weak it lets its enemies operate in plain sight.
This isn’t about “Big Brother” or some slippery slope. It’s about basic survival. A nation that tolerates enemy sympathizers rotting it from the inside won’t survive. So spare me the hand-wringing. You pick a side—civilization or savagery. And if you pick savagery, don’t be shocked when civilization crushes you.
My last post was very clear and concise and the only possible reason for your disagreement is that you do in fact want the government to restrict freedom of speech. Is that what you want? Because if that is not what you want, then you must agree with me and believe that the only way forward (when dealing with citizens) is through common sense and public discourse.
Those are your only 2 options, because as of right now the first amendment guarantees citizens the right to disagree with our government.
Wrong. Those aren’t the only two options, and your attempt to box the argument into a false choice is lazy.
Nobody is saying the government should ban “disagreeing with the government.” That’s a pathetic strawman. What is being said is that openly supporting terrorists—groups that slaughter civilians and openly call for America’s destruction—goes beyond simple disagreement. That’s not “public discourse,” that’s aiding the enemy.
The First Amendment doesn’t protect incitement, material support for terrorism, or treason. If you think cheering for terrorists is just an innocent political opinion, then you either don’t understand the Constitution or you’re pretending not to. Either way, spare me the fake outrage.
Pit Row
Many are saying that our country would be better off today if Donald's father, Fred Trump, had been deported after being arrested for participating in a violent Ku Klux Klan riot in Queens, NYC in 1927. But, as crazy as it sounds, even a despicable old racist like Fred had a First Amendment right to free speech.
Just wading back in here to say the following things:
-Words are not and never will be violence.
-Speaking out in favor of something, however misguided and unpalatable that something is, is not the same as providing material support for it.
Be careful what you wish for regarding protesting, lest your vocal support for the things you believe in is somehow deemed hate speech or treason in the future.
